Aww cool its great to see people from around the same area.. where are you all getting married. We was orginally supposed to be getting married this year on 28th August at the ***@883y H0u53 H0t31 in Barrow in Furness but due to me losing my job we had to cancel it. we got the money back tho and have rebooked ours for 8th April next year at the ***Upp3r M111 C1v1c h@11 in Saddleworth its as beautiful as the hotel and tbh we have more freedom to do what we want to do aswell.

Ahh lovely I had a look at their brochure when looking, it's such a beautiful building! I absolutely adore the ivy (/the plants growing up the wall, not sure if it's all ivy)
S@ml3s8ury H@ll was the only one I went to look at formally, i fell in love with it from the start. I had a look at a LOT of other venues online but always had that 'its not that one'' feeling. We ended up booking before we were engaged (we'd been talking about it/half planning the wedding for a while by then haha) because our preferred date went and I rang up OH and we decided not to wait. He proposed properly in the grounds a couple of weeks later :)
The other place I looked at was M1tt0n H@ll, one of my friends got married there a few years ago and said it only cost 5-6 grand for 100 people, everything included. Costed it up for 2017 and for 75 people it would have been £9,700! Went for afternoon tea there to get a feel for it and a couple of very snobby waiters kind of put me off.

We looked at a few brochures, completely ruled M1tt0n H@ll out from the start as I knew how expensive it would be lol! We considered the Sh1r3burn @rm$ at one stage but decided it was too far out. Me and my mum found F@r1ngt0n, we went to a wedding fair there and loved the place. Ended up using some of their recommended suppliers too as they knew the venue so well

Stephanie, ignore the downers I've always heard good things about your venue. I used to go to the antiques fair and the shops there a few years ago with my mum tho I'm not sure if they still have those now lol xx

That is so rude of people Stephanie, don't listen to the debbie downers. We had a lovely time there and I loved the spa, out door hot tub was fab. Its a lovely venue xx

Thanks ladies, we are getting married in the P3nnyF@rthing Suite, it looks kind of barn like inside and thats what we fell in love with. We love the little village area outside as well. Still we hope people will be too drunk at the end of the night to realise their rooms are a little old fashioned. hehe. I'll be hitting the spa the night before. :-) xx

We've got some people who are travelling all the way from Australia for our big day then we got an rsvp the other day from Leicester saying the drive would be too much as the wedding is so late...... we're all like "really?" . :-/
