We're getting married 14th June 2014! Can now say its less than 2 years :) had the wedding booked since February and it has went very fast since. We're getting married in Ayrshire Scotland, would have loved to go abroad but h2b wasn't keen :( xx

We are getting married on the 6th june 2014. In Brentwood Essex. Booked it in April. Just made up my favour boxes to decorate. Made my save the date cards. My dress is sorted and ordered, car sorted, venue for ceremony and reception, registrar booked, H2B ring is bought and mine is on order. It seems ages away but when I look back and see how fast this year has gone so far it really is going to be here quick. Just got to pay for it and lose lots of weight.

So far we've booked the venue, pianist and a company to do the decor like chair covers, centre pieces etc. talking to some photographers n videographers at the mo so will hopefully book this week or next. You're so organised LeighS lol I really need to get my butt in gear! Want to make my invites but don't know where to start plus need to lose loads of weight too lol x

I'm 14th of June 2014 as well getting married in the bristol area want this time next year to hurry up so the real planning can start. So far I've got a venue cake bridesmaid Center pieces And just now working on save the dates x

yayyy i'm a June 2014 bride too! It sounds ages away when you say "just under 2 years" but it will fly by :-) 8th June 2014.. we've booked the venue, registrar, centrepieces, chair covers and chocolate fountain. Already sorted out the woman supplying our invites but can't order them until we have bought our house so we know what the RSVP is! No point doing other bits yet, don't want to buy dresses etc until closer to the date just in-case i change my mind haha xxx

Think I going do send mine out in jan as h2b family comes from Ireland and gurneys so they need to know for booking fights and going send invites out in November next year so the got all the info for hotel for booking.

think our STD will be getting sent out in the new year. We are getting our invites made but trying to make some of the things ourself! January will give us plenty of time to try and make them look half decent ha! anyone else got on well with their planning? Our photographer is booked too now, he is doing a very early pre-wedding photoshoot for us so having that at the end of the month. exciting! Cant believe how fast the past 3 months have gone already!! xx

We got most of the big things booked, iv just started to make invitations and order of serivce, not doing the insides bit to closer to wedding, I know times flying we started to book things back feb/mar time it just going so fast, am just saving like mad at mo but going to big wedding fair at weekend so god knows what more ideas I come away with and bits iv bought,

May 2014 (end of) made very little process but in no massive rush. Cake being done by Aunty who is a bit of a pro, so that's been baked so it can mature in time.

we're hoping to be june 7th! the venue i originally wanted was fully booked for summer weddings (they only do a few weddings a year as their main business isn't weddings) but they said we could have a winter wedding there if we wanted, we debated it but i've had my heart set on a english tea party theme which i think works better in summer. We're off to view some venues end of next week down in the cotswolds so hopefully we'll love one and can get planning!

How are we all? I can't believe it's 9 months since I booked my wedding and started this thread! So when I booked it my wedding was 'just under 2 years away' now it's 'just over a year away' (OK 14 months but that sounds better lol).
I’m getting married in Lindos (Rhodes), Greece on 5th June 2014, our wedding planner has now officially confirmed it with the Greek authorities so our wedding will be at 3:30pm at St Paul’s chapel :-)
Trying to think what we’ve sorted so far… my dress is ordered, paid half of it, it’s due in the shop in June (2 months eeeek) so at that point I will go and pay off the balance and have my first fitting. Obviously our ceremony is booked.. booking our actual travel arrangements soon once the 2014 prices are released (my sister works for Thomas Cook and says it’ll be in the next couple of weeks). Me, my friend and my sister are off to look at bridesmaid dresses at the weekend. We’ve decided on our colour and theme, we’re going for a nautical themed wedding so have gone for royal blue. Hmm what else.. oh the wedding planner sent us the legal documents to get sorted so need to sort that ASAP!
I think that’s it for now, still lots to do but it’s all coming along!

Because we're getting married abroad the wedding planner will take care of the flowers, cake, entertainment etc so can't really sort any of that until we have our UK meeting with them later this year. Sorted the bridesmaid dresses now though :-) there's a shop about half an hours drive away from me who make wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses, they had a sale on yesterday so me, my friend and my sister went to have a look. Wasn't much there but found a gorgeous dress in the colour and style we actually want so my friend tried it on and it was lovely. So the ladies at the shop are going to make them for me, I'm finalising the bridesmaid details in the next week or two (at the moment I've got 2 adult bridesmaids but it may end up being 3) then putting the order in next month :-) I've put pics in my album if anyone wants to have a look x
