I'm hoping to be June 2012 bride. But getting married abroad & can't book until July so no dates as yet. I have started buying bits for the return reception and we have found our venue to have it but can't book until we know when we will b back. Tried on a few dresses & going to try on some more next Friday.

I'm a june 2012 bride - have practically sorted everything! You should bookmark the 2012 brides forum - all regular forum users getting married next year pretty much use it and share ideas and let people know what they've done xxx

I'm a June 2012 bride too, also 30th! venue booked and sent out STD, talked to a potential photogrpaher, and have a deposit down with the registrar, picked the theme/colours and got loads of ideas. x

I'm 16th June 2012. We have church, reception, cars, cake lady (just got to decide design), Dj just got to confirm, flowers for church and venue are included, just got to sort what we are having.

to be honest alot of the things..dj, cars and flowers are all part of the reception. They can be included so we are having them, just got to confirm who to have and confirm it through the venue. Cake is a lady at work so thats easy. I'm sitting here now looking for photographers to phone and there are just so many with so many options and varied prices, I just don't know who to ring first ahhh help me! haha

I'm getting married on the 23rd June 2012...so far have the church, reception and photographer booked. In the process of booking a singer and DJ. Going dress shopping with my mum in a week or so - very exciting!!! Finding it difficult to decide on colour theme - changing my mind all the time! x

registry office provisionally booked need to give notice yet but its too soon for that.
room booked for evening do.
guest list almost sorted.

need to decide what i want to wear before i can do much more

It sure will, I still have loads to do ahhhh well it feels like it anyway! work gets in the way, I could spend my time wedding planning if work didnt get in the way haha! but then I wouldn't be able to afford the wedding! :) x

We're 2nd June 2012 a year today!!!!!

So far we've booked the venue and photographer and have bought our wedding rings, Bridesmaids, Bestman and Ushers chosen. I've pencilled in the date with a florist but can't doing anything more about flowers until I've chosen my dress (there are about 4 that I can't choose between so far!). Just called up to book the registrar and am awaiting a call back from them, sooooooooooooooo hope we get 1pm, fingers crossed everyone please!!! Colour theme is chosen and H2B'swork mate is a graphic designer so is in the process so doing our STDs for us :) .

Some days I feel like I've sone loads and am way ahead of myself and other days I panic that there is still loads to do!

Now im panicking!!! lol. I'm getting married on the 12th June 2012 and you ladies have already booked so much for your weddings!! All we've done so far is book the church!!! We've decided where we want the reception but not put down a deposit and I've found my dress but not brought it!! Maybe I should get a move on! lol xx

I've got the registry office booked. Reception venue...almost booked!
Save The Dates arriving soon. Invitations chosen just need to some how become artistic to make them!
Dress chosen but not purchased yet.
Made a decision on the cake.
Guest list finalised.
Theme decided.
Oh and in process of sorting photographer, just need to confirm with him when he gets back....oh and DJ sorted.

So much more to do...I must stop being addicted to google...all it does it makes me change my mind! Or add more things to the list!

today i managed to find the right colour card for our invites so bought it while the shop had some, another tick in a box. H2B redrew part of the design we want and i'm loving the way its going to look. very simple and meaningful to us.

i think i breathed a sigh of relief once the registry office and the evening venue were booked. i do suspect that the year will fly by though

Hi wedding date buddies, Zoe81 and ClareRobins and hi all other June 2012 brides!

How're we all getting on?
It's the beginning of a new week and I've started off well, received my ring 2day (after having to send one back as too big!) and hurrah it fits! Just wrote out the deposit cheque for the church to send tomorrow. And over the weekend I ordered some flowers to check the colours, as I'm having wooden roses, which should arrive tomorrow.
Not too much on my list to do this month except meet with the club secretary about the function room we booked, but that's club prices so it'll, hopefully be a good evening! lol x

You sound very organised kaz. I'm currently & for the next few weeks just researching & checking prices. I have found most things that we want but still looking. I have my bridal party (like an Ann summers party) at the end of the month to try on dresses. Continue paying off on the wedding/holiday and the rings are half paid for. Should be assigned a wedding coordinator in Jamaica now that all the paperwork has been completed so hope to here from her or him olin the next few weeks.

I've made a million lists but, tbh I should know what I want as I've been engaged since march 2000, doesn't mean I'd like to spend a fortune though, I'm costcutterkaz because (although I've had to up it recently, cos of church vs registry office fees) my budget is still under £1,000

OMG!!! You're all so organised! I still haven't chosen my dress! We've not even really looked at suits yet never mind chosen them, best get my finger out and get on with it!
