    Me and the other half have decided on a theme! - Magicians!
    We've already had a few sparks like having the invitations designed like a card from a deck of a cards (which I thought was pretty good)
    Has anyone else got some cool and creative ideas?

    Have a magician at the reception.
    Top hats and bunnies, dunno how to incorporate them but there they are lol
    You could have tophats as centerpieces, that would be pretty cool

    Hmm - lots of stars, velvet draping fabrics, make it really dark and atmospheric like the Magic Circle! and you could name the tables after famous magicians, like Copperfield, Houdini, Daniels (!!) - ooh and definitely star shaped table confetti, a wedding cake like a top hat, the list could go on and on!!

    Ooo thats a great idea Annette! - We already had the idea of a few table magicians at the reception and such, but love the ideas of bunnies :p totally forgot about them!
    We also came up with some sort of dove incorparation!

    Thats amazing Bridalmiss! - I had some colour schemes in my head but never occoured to me about stars and table names!

    Following on from Annette's top hat and bunnies, you could have your invites as top hats and a bunny that you can pull out with all your invite details on! I'm liking this theme.

    ooo Abbey thats a good idea!

    I'm putting all my ideas together in a scrapbook and then get my other half to have a look and see what he thinks!

    I originally didnt like the idea, I wanted a Doctor Who Theme (yes ultimate sad nerd :p) - but I came round in the end after lots of nagging from the fiance ;)

    You could use the deck of cards idea for your cake! Like having a card suit on each face of a square tier or having a house of cards cake maybe. You could also use the top hat idea for table centre pieces an pu the fake flowers in them like magician pull out of their sleeves.
    Table names could also be magic words like 'alakazam', 'abracadabra', 'open sesame', 'just like that' ala Tommy Cooper!!

    You could have personalised packs of cards as favours with your wedding date and name on (v_print might do those) too or maybe chocolate dice/lucky stars or a lucky rabbits foot.
