i agree... get out the singstar... wine for the adults shloer for the kids and have big sing song. also could make some cakes with wedding accesories on. get every one to dress up as brides as the younger ones would love this. x x

Nice meal either out or takeaway. Have fun mixing some cocktails (non-alcoholic for the kids) and watch some dvds. Or go see a show at the theatre? A nice musical perhaps? I'll keep thinking

I am thinking of doing 'Go Ape'. Do the treetop climbing and tightropes etc. I have a variety of ages and most of them wont go drinking or anything. I thought this might be something different for everybody and should be a laugh! xx

Thinking of something fun like go-ape (altho my friends are girlpants and would probably prefer a spa day) during the day, then a comedy club at night for meal and drinks. I wont expect every1 to come to both sessions, but there's something for all x x

Hoping to have an adventure day at either Lochter or Deeside Activity Centre, where you do things like clay pigeon shooting, problem solving, blind fold driving around a course, dry raft racing, go karting, archery, digger driving, etc. Then get dressed up and go out for a fab meal afterwards so that others who dont want to do the adventure part can join us for the meal and drinks.

Either ideas would be a karaoke evening, bingo outing, treasure hunt (based around wedding things to find), spa day, ice skating/meal out after or a girlie day of make up, dvds, nibbles and music. x

If its the treasure hunt your interested in then defo consider using these guys below. I got the SMS pub treasure hunt for York with them and it was brilliant. We managed to start it at anytime on the day which was great as we decided to change the day's layout at the last minute as some people didnt get up to late from the Friday night!

Also I have done the karaoke booths in Manchester and they were also brilliant.

Hope you find what your looking for

We are doing go ape in the morning (the one with segways on site as one bm wont do go ape but will do segway and the other bm will do go ape but wont do segway! I will do both :-) and then a pamper party in the eve either in my house or a spa hotel depending on cost with a chilled out eve involving wine and/or hot chocolate and girlie movies or something as I'm not much of a party animal really - sounds dull now I have written it out but hey ho :-)

    Hi all

I was bridesmaid at my best friends wedding recently & I had the biggest job of the wedding which was organsing the Hen Party. We looked around with some of the major event companies & we all really wanted to do a Cocktail Making Class.

We looked around at quite a lot of companies & we found a company
EDIT - name removed as no advertising allowed on the forum - please put details on your wall -
who are based in Bristol EDIT: Link removed - please read the forum rules! Mods.

We had the Hen party in Gosport for the weekend & rented a city apartment we booked J******* to teach us how to make cocktails for one of there Cocktail Clinics.

I said to James our host for the evening I would promise to write a review on a site because I really felt the whole experience was just fantastic. All the girls felt it was the highlight of our weekend.

I've had a Cocktail Masterclass at one of the big bar chains before but to be fair that was just a student working weekends as a bartender left to keep us entertained. J******** from our experience couldn't have been further from this. James our host had worked all over the world in Cocktail Bars & had incredible knowledge of Cocktails & was such a fun & entertaining host.

I think the service from the initial enquiry online to the Cocktail Making Lesson & then after emailing us with all the Cocktails we made just felt like the best value, entertaining, fun thing I've done for years.

I would recommend J****** to anyone organsing a Hen Party in the UK.

    Hope this helps,

    lucille, Oxford

I am having (I hope) a pamper party at home.

I have given my sil 20 names. I think it cost about £30 for three treatments and if you want more than its an extra £8 per treatment.

My friend is doing it for me.

Also two days before the wedding we are having a spray tanning party so we can all have a spray tan and have our nails done. My make up artist is doing this for me.
