im getting married at 10.30am, it sounds really early, but it pans out perfectly...

10.30- get married at registry office
11.00- finish and go to site for pictures and soft drinks
    12.30- back to my parents
12.45- guests start arriving for blessing
    13.00- blessing starts
13.30- more pictures with guests and drinks
    14.00-bbq reception starts.

I just wondered if anyone else is getting married early how they are planning their days out. x

I would love to get married that early but i also like my bed, and don't want to be up at 5 in the morning to get make up and hair done, lol. But i will be hopefully getting married at about 1pm, which is still fairly early compared to the 3pm starts generally preferred for registry wedding ceremonies. I just want to wear my dress for as long as possible, forever even, lol. x

Your timings sound great. Personally I think 3pm is far too late for a wedding- everything is rushed! Mines 12.30.

We have booked for 2pm as this gives guests time to get to the venue and we're not rushing in the morning (which I am NOT good at lol!) but should still give us time to fit in everything else :o)

our wedding will be at 12 which i feel is too early. its nice in the respect that we dont need to rush etc but im worried we will have 1-2 hours after the meal before the disco and evening guests arrive and dont know how to fill this time

ours is 11.30. was the only time available on that day other than 9.3o lol and thats way to early for me, so we will be arriving at the reception at about 1pm, food at 3pm, then disco from about 4pm onwards really, goin to be a long day, but worth it xx

we are getting married at 12:30 we thought 11 would be too early as pretty much all my guest have to some from the other side of england and wales. i have thought of having it at 4 so we can just feed them once lol but as there coming such a long way i want them to come for longer. i dont see them often. Plus we have a 20/25min journey to our wedding venue after the church so there wont be too much hanging about.
