We were really organised like that, we had to be really cos we live in Yorkshire (I'm originally from Poole) and to arrange it all we've been very strict with ourselves...back in January we felt like we should be doing something but didn't have anything to do lol. x

Well we're making the table plan today and finishing off the place cards but I think thats pretty much it, once we drop it all off at the venue on Friday we're done until Monday lol. I do keep feeling that we've missed something though!

Well hopefully if you do forget something it wont be anything key! My friend who got married the other week was 45 minutes late as she forgot her flowers and had to go back and get them! x

Oh dear! Well we've made a list and we're getting the suitcases down today so we can start sorting it out. His mum has a spare key to the house and isnt travelling down til the Sunday so if we do forget anything it shouldnt be too bad lol. I'm just trying to find somewhere down there now to go for a quick spray tan x

I've heard Bridport Registry Office is really pretty??

I got married at Weymouth R O, which has a lovely room!!!

I was a budget bride so did everything on the cheap and probably wouldn't be able to help much in the way of recommendations but may be able to give you some ideas, if you need them??

My cousin got married in Dorchester in August! She had her reception at Brownsword Hall in Poundbury and was stunning - I'll attach some pics to show how amazing it was! It was a lovely long hall, high ceilings, beams, bar at the end, loads of room for the band, ample space for dancing and downstairs there was an outside bit with pillars where they had canapes and champers which was really nice too - You should definitely go and have a look! :)

MrsWhite2B, hotels in Weymouth the Rembrandt is probably the only one as the Prince Regent has gone into administration and don't even think about the Riviera as it has a really bad reputation.

Bennets Water Gardens, Pensilvania Castle, Portland Castle are lovely venues.
