if you are really flixible on the dates you could get yourself a really good deal at any venue. They will be wanting to book up any dates that are free, so you should get a great deal even on a Saturday. Especially in the winter time!

get your trainers on and get round those venues!! And let them know you will be shopping about and are looking for the best deal.

    good luck and congratulations! x

I would say don't go for real flowers if you are getting married on valentines as all the florists are so busy and they bump their prices up so you could be paying over double for them. Have a look at some of the alternatives that are about. I've got some links on my wall and I think some of the other brides have contacts as well for theirs. Search under flowers under the threads and you will see what I mean.

As for venue it depends on where you are. I'm paying full price because I'm having a sat wedding but mine is 4k which includes the meal for 60, buffet for 100, drinks on arrival, 2 glasses of wine with dinner, toast drink, tea coffee chocolates, dj, room for the night in honeymoon suit, toastmaster, cake stand, cake knife, flowers for venue, table plan and name cards and everything you really need for the day. This if for a country house setting so it goes to show that you can get something really nice for your money as they do it loads cheaper during the week or out of season which Feb is classed as out of season. I've got some links on my wall for factory outlets that sell designer wedding dresses from £99 as well so it might be worth looking on there to help keep costs down. I've also got one for cheap bridesmaid dresses but if you are only having one or two you may be able to find them on ebay.
