Hello I'm in Peterborough too :-) I'm not getting married in Peterborough though. No I haven't found any bargains here as most of my stuff will be bought up around where my fiancé is from and where I am from as our wedding is being split between the two places.

But I'm constantly checking out stuff here just for inspiration so if I come across anything nice and cheap that might be of interest to you and other Peterborough folk ill put it up here (without directly mentioning actual shop names of course) :-)

I'm not far from P'bro. My dress came from there too :)
We do seem slightly lacking in the wedding department round here, but we're savvy and will always find a way :)

Yeah I walked around the city centre one day cos i was bored and only came across 1 bridal boutique. I am from a town a lot smaller than Peterborough that has a lot more boutiques. It is a shame, even the likes of John Lewis and Monsoon don't even have a bridal section.

yes lincoln is very good theres nothing much here in peterborough at all. :( havnt had much good service in bridal shops that i have been to around here. one wedding dress shop i would reccomend is in spalding called frocks fancy, (other way around) very good for suit hire bridesmaid dresses, brides dress, flower girls, mother of bride and alterations. nice to have things all together in one place. very reasonably priced to. had a huge sale when i last went there.
oh yeah didnt even notice your profile pic being in peterborough!! :) x

    :-)
I am back looking for a wedding dress again as I've totally changed my mind about the dress I do have and my ideas on altering it. I'm on the look out for dress sample sales or former hire wedding dresses that are for sale. Reason being budget really. So if anyone knows of any shops in Peterborough or around thd area that is selling off dresses pretty cheap please give me a shout :-)

6 months pregnant at the minute so I won't be trying dresses on for at least 4-5 months or more.
