Im June 2012 so not too long after yours. How is your planning going, you done much so far?
We are thinking Jade as our colour theme or maybe Purple, fancy a nice vibrant shade since its the summery months, what about you? Not having a theme really just as long as the colours tie in etc :-)

That sounds lovely Tinsel....if you are after a Fri or Sat wedding I would start looking asap, as they are popular dates and get snapped up fast. We only had a choice of 5 Sats for the whole of 2012 so we were very lucky to get the 23rd of June :-) xx

going to have the best men in a navy blue and the bridesmaids in a turquoise blue. i love gerbera's so i'm going to have some gerbera daisies, lillies, roses and some blue flowers in the bouquets.

We're the 21st of April too!! So far we have only booked the church but are just arranging appointments to go look at some venues. Manage to get our list from 88 places down to 5!! As for colour scheme we haven't fully decided. After googleing it, it came up with pink and green is good for April, so we are considering that. Will work well as we are having a 'tree/spring' theme. Giving everyone a chilli plant as favours, and leaf as name cards, also can be used on the memory tree as tags. Still not asked the bridesmaids or best men.

iv booked the venue and the registra so far and paid the deposits also asked my bridesmaids and Oh has picked his best man and ushers soo exciting. I have jus ordered some free postcards from vistaprint as my save the dates cant resist a bargin tehee :)

We've now booked our venue and part of the evening entertainment. Looking at getting our photographer and videographer next :o)

I am getting married on 14th April 2012. We are having a cadbury purple colour scheme, with a hint of gold and butterflies. We have booked our Church but still looking for a wedding venue within budget :-( fingers crossed I'll find something soon! Sxxx

venue is booked< church next week when we see vicar, think ive picked colour theme, invites are ordered, although we have a while before we need to send them, seen a dress and bridesmaid dresses i like but again too early

We're getting married on April 28th have pencilled in the reception venue, and photographer...but our registry office said we have to wait til 12 months before to be able to put ourselves down for that date *sigh* gonan be there first thing in the morning to make sure i get that date. got my dress, bridesmaids dresses....making the cake ourselves and the same with invitations etc.....my main annoying niggle is the flowers....theyre sooooo expensive...have looked at fake ones but, its not the same :(

Yay special sundae we're date buddies. I was 26th October 2012. But now I'm 21st April 12. We have literally just decided and have booked everything today, the registrar was free, the ceremony venue booked us - have to pay deposit by 21st April, the reception venue took our deposit off us tonight. I just got home and my coffees going cold reading through this.....How many brides didn't read the April part of the title?? He he he we all get excited!

My dressmaker let me down REALLY badly but I'm finding a new one.

It really is a popular date on this forum. I originally wanted the 28th but our venue was already booked. I really hope the weather's as good as it was around that time this year.

Oh heavens yes! We had to cut out half my family because there's about 200 of them! We're still sitting at about 140.

We had 170 and thought that was too many (i also have a large family!) so we made some cuts but got a bit too carried away and have cut too many people off!

Still, we have 10 months to go so i think i'll come back to it!

we have just over 150 for actual wedding day guests and about another 150 on top of that for night do, but im expecting between 10/20% of ppl not to turn up x

We're the same day and we've only just given notice and are waiting for the venue to send the contract through! Sooooooo much still to do. Although I do have my dress.... was the first thing, before the date was even set! lol!

we've been on with planning it about a yr allready lol,i like to try be organised.
i have just set up 2 standing orders today one for my balloons and chair covers sashes and runners etc for £20 per week so come november they will be paid off.
and the other one for £20 a week again for my choc fountain,twinkle backdrop,twinkle top table and cake table skirt again that will be paid of in november.

my dress is now paid off in full, but i still have to pay for my skirt and viel but they will be paid of by the middle of next month.
i have my shoes we have davids ring, i did have my ring but its now my engagment, so i have to buy a new wedding ring ooops lol.

but still loads more to pay :-( and organise x

notice given and registrar completely paid, venue deposit paid... just need to send off save the dates. already have my dress lol and OH is already looking at suits (no prompting needing- bless him, he's so excited and has been going out on trips with his best friend to the suit stores in the area and discussin plans with him :))

Received our venue contract today.... and had to email back immediately as it's not valid! They got my fiancé's name wrong, so it can't be legally binding! So, gonna be a delayed a while longer :-( Still, that gives me an extra payday to get the funds for the deposit! :-)

I was meant to give notice on wednesday but the registry office phoned and asked us to go a week on tuesday :( so now cant give notice till the 7th june :'(

Need to get that done to fully secure the date and time :(
