One of my close friends has just text me to say her baby boy was born this morning (yesterday morning I guess as it's passed midnight). Another friend's baby is due on 11th May (if he arrives on time he'll be celebrating his 1st birthday at our wedding).

I've been getting broody for a while now, is anyone else feeling broody?

I can't wait to be married and to start trying for a family xx

I am soooo broody! Im too sensible tho and boring lol. Its strange cus its my other half that is trying to pursuade me, its normally the other way round.

As much as i would love it I know its not the right time.

omg i feel the same. everytime i see a baby i want one haa i saw twins earlier in the supermarket and i couldnt stop looking at them lol
i used to think eurrgghh i dont think i could look after kids but now its like i cant wait to be a mam haha!

H2B is broody as well as me...if not more :) the problem is I am training to be a teacher at the moment and need to get through next year before I can try. But we both want to now...is soo hard :( x x

It's nice to know that after all this crazy wedding planning that seems to take over your life there is something after for us to focus on, plan for and get excited about.

Broody big time! Compounded by the fact my 'baby' will be 3 on Tuesday. H2b and I have done a bit of 'will we wont we' with regards to having another baby, we've been discussing it since our son was about 6 months. At first it was me that thought it'd be a no go, then h2b wasnt feeling it, then just last week I was watching a video of my sons first birthday and the tears were streaming down my face, I definitely want another one! We'll be trying from the start of September, getting married 29th. Being a mum is the best! x

We're only renting atm but the landloard has said its ours till either we want to buy the house or want to move out he's happy with us being here and has had no trouble off us other than me moaning to get the gate fixed lol ...I'm only 21 but when we do have another we can only have one more or two at a push (they wont be happy if i have another pregnancy after my next one tho) So i'm hoping it will be twins and I get my four babies in three pregnancies they cant complain at me then lol x

Massively broody! I'm 30 with no children at the moment and i'm waiting till i get married, old fashioned i know. Told h2b that as soon as we're down the aisle we're off to the bedroom to start a family ;) xx

Hayley Elizabeth - I'm with you on that! Waiting until we tie the knot first then it's let the baby making begin ;) I've just turned 32 so I really hope I preggers quickly once we start trying.

three WAS my limit, but...i really want another. the issue is that we'd need a bigger car and those 7 seaters have basically no boot space. i've got a xsara picasso, which is huge, but full already!! h2b isn't too keen either as he's terrified it'll be another girl lol he's totally outnumbered

We can't wait to have a family either! H2B's niece is 9 months and every time we see her we get really broody and want our own! Wedding first though!

i am really broody, and h2b wants a baby too, but we are going to wait until after we are married. We did discuss having a year after the wedding to ourselves but i think i will get too impatient to wait that long! lol

Awww fiona, hope after the wedding it happens for you! You never know, when the wedding is over and you are all relaxed it may just happen. One of my colleagues told me that it took her and her hubby 4 years to get pregnant with her 2nd kid, she said that as soon as they stopped actually trying and relaxed and enjoyed life it just happened. Fingers crossed for you!

I know I should be concentrating on planning our wedding but my mind does keep drifting to the future family we want and plan to have.

Last year I found it very difficult because so many of my friends fell pregnant. All I've ever really wanted was a family and hopefully a job that I didn't hate, but my teachers and dad convinced me that it would be stupid not to go to university so I made myself go and gave 110%. Every time I heard another friend had accidentally got pregnant I genuinely felt like I was being punished for doing what I'd been told I should do. So many of my friends were not being careful and as a result got exactly what I wanted. I can't regret coming to uni because I met my partner here, and I know that its better to wait till we're financially independent and stable before starting a family, and I know that its mostly just the biological clock telling me I'm ready, but it has definitely taught me to do things for my own reasons not other peoples! Thankfully not been so broody since we got engaged, I guess I'm more aware that my time will come :)

I am soooo broody right now. The plan is to try as soon as we are married but im so tempted to start now. The only things putting me off is incase i have a really bad time with morning sickness during the wedding.We already have a son. He was 2 in April. So if we tried now there would only be a few weeks between the birthdays. lol. Maybe i should try and hang on till after wedding. Its only 3 months away :)

No, I'm not broody in the slightest - don't get me wrong, I love my niece and nephew to bits but I'm also very glad that I can give them back and not be responsible for them 24/7.
