Hello everyone, I'm a newbie and only got engaged a week ago, but i'm already too excited that i'm looking into things, lol. I've signed up to this site as it seems pretty thorough, however upon looking around i have grossley underestimated the time and cost and planning that goes into a wedding. So any lovely ladies plan on sharing tips and advice on how to use the site to my advantage then please do, as i havent got a clue where to start!? Please help!!!

ask any questions look through the threads to see any info you might need and if you dont find it start one :-) congrats on ur engagement :-) use the budget planned and try to get the H2B to do it with you so he has an idea of whats involved haha xxx

Hi Welcome to the asylum hun! Ok big things first: budget - what is you monatary limit? Of that money what percent is for the venues? venue - church? reception? date? once decided book them this can be done up to 2 years in advanced Guests - how many? who? which have vip status? theme - colour scheme? Theme? bridesmaids? Flowers? Get a general feel for the wedding Dress- look at styles and start trying on 10 months prior to wedding you will be a perfectionist on this if nothing else Cake - decide on styles Flowers - fit theme All other details come later :) Let me know if this helps xxxx

not really any "best " way to use the site really...you can use the search function on the forum to find out about any topics ur wanting that have been previously posted or if you cant find nething, just start a new post and u will get a good response!
just find out what your budget is...and what most of it will be going on and then try in to see there if there's any way to save money etc xx
