Hi ok I don't drink and as we're supplying our own wine so we've played safe (I think) & picked bl@@som hill red and white...

Now this might be a stupid question but is it possible for screw cap wine bottles to 'cork' and cause the wine to turn??

    Thanks x

I did want to put rosé on too but my eveyone i asked said just to do the white and the red, so I'm gonna put 2 white, one red & one sparkle for the toasts, probably go with Asti for that...

I doubt it - it's the cork (I think) that turns the wine. I think you've made good choices... mind if I had my way we'd have rose - I love rose - especially with ice in the summer.

Good choice. You could do a sparkling rose if you wanted...

No it can't get corked as there is no cork to get into the wine.
If a wine gets corked it's because the opener goes all the way through the cork stopper and sprinkles cork into the wine- so no chance of that happening if they all have screw tops :) x

They can't get corked but be sure to store them in a cool place because the wine can still go off if it's been stored at the wrong temp.

Corked is when the cork (which is a natural wood product) is infected with a type of mould, and this then goes into the wine.
Get your screw tops (easier to open!) and store in a cool place away from sunlight, as uv breaks down the alcohol & you end up with bottles of vinegary off wine

That's exactly what were doing, so yes :-) Any extra, then they know where the wine list is.
