    simple answer - ignore them, its taken me over a year to figure this out as my inlaws are straight from hell, but ignoring them is the simpliest and easiest thing you can do!!

    you smile and ignore them and focus on the fact that it is not them you are marrying (hint of bitterness detected ?) )

    I'm getting to the point where I'm going to turn around and give my father out-law the cold rage that he instills in me with his stupid, bigoted comments. I've been trying the calm conversations and attempts at compromise so far but it hasn't worked very well.

    just ignore them babe. got problem with some of mine, they are really unreasonable, but now I won't play their games, and just ignore them and smile and be nice.

    just be nice as pie and out up with it and make yourself look like the better person and show that nothing bothers you.... they may get the idea and back off x

    i think u should just smile and react natural and try to get on with them at some point... but on the other hand as other ppl say ignorance helps as well :) xx u will be ok!!!
