the thing is...it might come true..you actually don't care..that's when he needs to afraid..be very afraid. why is it that men assume you are sitting at home being the good loyal wifey whilst he behaves like a complete and utter prat...you could be just waiting for him to disappear so your handsome personal trainer can come round for extra exercise..get my drift lmao
Good Luck..I truly truly hope he sees the light...it's not a lot to ask..a bit of compromise. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

It is a subject close to my heart....the pull of the pint...and the detrimental effect it has on relationships. I have experienced it myself but as a Social Worker have seen the lives it has marred. I have analysed it and read theories and i could tell you tales that would make your blood run cold..what was the excuse of the perpetrator...it was the alcohol...i don't remember....never forgot to go to pub though..funny that.

lol ricky its funny to read but not funny to live with i enjoy a drink sometimes and alcohol can be nice but when the person drinking it cant even recognise how often or even why they feel the NEED to have a pint (usually 10 or 15 pints ) then alcohol will always destroy relationships, familys ,lives, and health xxxx
luckily ed never drinks at home. when he is out in a mon/thurs he has 4 maybe 5 pints but more at the weekend!
i used to go out every friday without fail and would get so drunk i would be sick/cant remember anything! now im lucky if i go out once a month, i dont drink at home either and when i do go out i very rarely get drunk. i get tipsy then drunk. this year i have been drunk only a handfull of times and much prefer no hangovers! xx

No Janet it most definitely is not funny living with someone who 'needs a drink'..who thinks they are still the same person with 10 pints inside them as the one who went out the door sober..it's not funny when the children define their dad as the one who drinks dirty beer not as the dad who they have fun with. it's not funny when you have to be up at 5,30am for work and they come rolling in at all hours stinking of ale..do the dance of getting the sock off..fall onto the bed..get into bed..get up again to go for a pee..bang the toilet lid..blow a lot, come back to bed..get in beside you..by this time you are wide awake but pretend your not because you know you are seething and will have a row and wake the kids..he breathes his nasty breath on you you turn over with a humpf..he is oblivious and carries on snoring like a warthog..then the farting starts..no???? not a bundle of laughs!!!!!!!!!!!!

no it isnt ricky its not funny at all i wasnt meaning to offend i was was saying the way you write it makes it seem amusing even though it isnt but lets not forget its not always the dads who have a problem with the drink sometimes its the mums who drink till they throw up or turn your birthday party into a drinking session with all the jakeys of the place who throw up on your cake and start to strip off infront of your 8 year old friends then wonders why no one will let their kids play with her daughter or buys you a tv for xmas then sells it 2 weeks later tries to throw themselves infront of buses when your on it with your mates or gets naked covers herself in paint and passes out in the street leaving 2 babys locked in the house alone so no it aint funny at all ricky sorry if i offended you xxxx

no you didn't offend me at all xxxx I have seen it first hand and worked as the social worker for families where mum, dad or both drink..and the poor kids are living the nightmare..adults have a choice whether to drink or not..children don't have a choice where they live..except when it becomes so severe and as the social worker you recommend they live some where else for their safety. No I am not offended..far from it I agree totally with you xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
