i agree with becky, shakes are good whilst youre on them but as soon as you go back to real food it gets undone

The website looks fab, If I do it correctly and stick to it, I can lose 6 stone by Sept this year, Its kinda like this website with forums, diet advise, exercise and meal plans its like weight watchers u pay a monthly fee and than buy shakes u can buy shakes in asda, tesco etc, with it been on the tv aswell and seeing the end result Im hopeless at doing calorie diets or points, its so much easier having the shakes for me knowing exactly what Im consuming each day

at the minute, I've made a point of having a small cereal like branflakes in the morning, some sort of soup (usualy chicken or veg depending on what's left over from sunday dinner) and a light evening meal. I'm seeing how I get on with that before looking at any other diets as I'm no good at counting up calories and haven't a clue what the points/days thing is all about lol x

Not heard of that 1. Let us know how you get on with it. I am starting the Exante diet this Friday, which involves a shake, a soup and a bar a day. Quite looking forward to it.....or rather any results I get doing it.

I started the biggest Loser diet 2 weeks ago and I've lost 5.4lbs up to today. I'm not using the shakes though. The website is great, there are three meal plans to choose from - normal, vegetarian and meal replacement (using the shakes). It also plans your exercise too if you want it too. I don't really use the meal plans or stick to the particular exercise on the given day, instead I use the diary. You can input everything you eat and all of the exercise you do (really easy) and it tells you calories consumed and calories used and you need to be in the negative each day. It gives you a calorie target based on how active your job is, how much you weigh to start with etc and the gives you short term goals. There are loads of pages to analyse which nutrients you are/aren't getting as well as graphs to show your weight loss. And fat blobs - a horrible yellow blob of fats each time you lose 1lb - It's good to see them and know you've got rid of them. There is also a good forum and loads of recipes. And it reminds you to weigh in on the same day each week, and you can include your measurements too if you want.

I'm also doing the biggest loser game for the xbox kinect which is really good!

    Hiya

I'm on cambridge just now, lost 8st on it last year but absolutely gorged on food from July until the new year, put 2st back on but now back on cambridge 2 weeks ago and 16lbs down.

I'd argue the point about putting it all back on when you come off the diet though - that'd be the same with any diet if you go right back to eating the way you did before, not just shakes/meal replacement diets. If you gradually reintroduce foods the way you're supposed to in maintenance on these diets, then try to eat healthily, there's no great difference between any of the diets. I've seen myself pile weight back on after losing on weight watchers too x
