Wedding Forum - An amazing weekend...

So i have just got back from my hen weekend in Cardiff and have had the best weekend ever with amazing family and friends!

Went to work on Friday morning, about 10 mins before leaving for the train station, one of the girls bought me through a gift bag with a mini bottle of rose (that i was ordered to drink BEFORE i arrived at the station) and a sash to wear all weekend! We then went to the station and everyone was already there. Got to Cardiff about 3ish and checked in, managed to get straight into the room. Hotel was lush, beds really comfy. Met back up at 4 and went shopping, how i didn't spend a fortune i have no idea!

We had a room in the hotel for between 7-10 for a 'girls night in' where we had a Wii and a stack of films with pizza, potato wedges and coleslaw. My sister had arranged cupcakes for me which one of my hens baked and my sister in law had made everyone party bags with all sorts of bits n bobs, with mine being a little bigger including a head bopper, a veil, a garter, sweets, willy straws etc etc. Then we played a Mr and Mrs quiz where I had to down a shot for every wrong answer and if i got it right i had to chose someone else to down it! I only got 6/12 right whoops! Then we had a bit of karaoke. I was then told to open a card which i had to read out basically saying to open up a pressie which was a basket full of honeymoon gifts including sun cream, puzzle book and sweets plus some naughty bits like lube, condoms and a pregnancy test!!

After that we went to a cocktail bar and managed to sneak into the VIP bit! Had an awesome time.

Highlight of the weekend has to be cocktail making at 12 on Saturday it was amazing! I could not believe how many cocktails and shots we were given. Everyone got involved and was allowed to make at least 2 cocktails each. At the end i had to do a jager train where i pushed a shot to create a domino effect. I was then given a gift of a shaker so will be making a few cocktails at home now! Food after was amazing and everyone was stuffed. After that more shopping!!

Saturday night was a 3 course meal but we arrived early as all drink were half price (we all ended up with a pitcher each and a straw!!). Had a bit of an issue but i wont go into that as want to focus on how good my weekend was! Put it this way we will never go back to Tiger Tiger and the staff there had no customer service skills whatsoever. Anywho after the meal we had a private booth in their club upstairs, free cocktail pitchers and amazing music! Danced the night away until we could stand no more!

Then this morning we got up, had breakfast and checked out and here i am writing this :-(. So upset my weekend has ended but had such a great time and have the best friends and fami;y ever.

Now i have exactly 2 months till the wedding eeeek!!

Sounds fun. I wonder if I saw you, my H2B's parents were visiting and staying in Mercure Holland, and I saw a couple of hen groups around.
