Ok this may sound really stupid but I'm dreading walking down the aisle and having my first dance!!
I'd prefer to blind fold everyone so they can't see .. LOL ..
I've never been big at standing infront of anyone and talking so any ideas or tips to help with this feeling??

I think it is normal, my cousin hid behind her menu and refused to get her picture taken as she hates having pics taken. I am the same my first dance i can see me on my backside after standing on my dress,my pictures will be rubbish, and walking down the isle im hoping my dad will keep me in line and to time, or ill be down the front 5 times faster than i should :S

Oooo i am exactly the same, it makes my heart go when i think of everyone watching me! i hate being the centre of attention, and having everyone listening to everything we say and watching us take our vows and dance terrifies me lol. I definitely plan on having a few glasses of wine whilst getting ready as im ok with a lil bit of drink on board!! haha im glad im not the only one :) xxx

Nope im dreading it too.
I used to have to talk in front of 30 - 40 ppl when i held staff meetings at work (was a hotel/restaurant and bar manager) and i ALWAYS went red, talking was fine and i did what i had to but everyone focusing on me just made me go red and i always felt it which made me worse lol.....all those eyes looking at me :-(
H2b keeps telling me to look at him when walking down the isle and dancing and ignore everyone else, pretend there not there and i'll be fine..............we'll see lol

thats a good idea! but saying that it might make me worse. my h2b choose the simple option on the vows- hasnt got the word impediment in it. when i asked him why he said incase he doesnt say it properly! xx

the walk you cant really avoid but if you are that bothered by a first dance then DONT DO ONE
i was fine all day no neves at all UNTILL i got to the first dance the i was shaking like a leaf. I didnt expect to feel like that and i wanted the ground to open up and swallow me. but once all that was over i was fine again. Its normal hun dont worry im sure you will be fine xxx

to be honest i cant remember it's nearly 10 years ago lol the only thing i can remember from the day was saying impediment wrong thats it. but to the same extent i was young only 19 marrying a 39 yr old we'd only been together 8 months i had no say in the wedding at all. this time we've known each other 13yrs this year been together nearly 5 yrs and i'm planing everything h2b has said that if i want it i will have it the ex just wanted someone to control i think thats the only reason i went through with it last time. ont get me wrong i have days wherer i sit here and cry and say to h2b are we doin the right thing do u really want to marry me or are you just goin with the flow coz u think its what i want but then i have weeks where all i can think about is walking down the isle and becoming Mrs A Hooper. ty its a spin on my normal forum name derangedinsanity lol also thought it was better than bridezilla lmao

i am really nervous, i hate being the centre of attention, so even though i am looking forward to the day and the ceremony i am not looking forward to the walking up the aisle, taking my vows and my speech, and first dance, all because i now that peole will be watching me, not because i dont want to do it, but because i hate people watching me :) x
