Well matthew and me have been trying for baby number 2 and as my periods arent completly back to normal just yet as ive been breast feeding my daughter till recently well anyway i worked it out that my period was due today. We bought tests on saturday and i took one then and it came back negative. Today i thought my period was here but when i just went to the toilet just now and there was a tiny little bit of blood not much at all so now im thinking maybe its the egg attaching itself to my womb as i had a little bit of blood when i fell pregnant with my daughter so what does everyone think?

Well matthew wants to be here when i take the test as he works at 4.30 in the morning so i have to wait till friday then!! The last time when i found out i was pregnant with my daughter i didnt even tell him i thought i might be and just bought the test just to rule that out not expecting it to be positive lol

I would be careful not to get to excited just yet, wait and take another test in 48 hours as the pregnancy hormones double every 48 hours x
I was wondering how long should wait before i took another test cos i didnt want to take another test and then it comes back negative again so if i waited till friday do you think itd show up?

lol the problem is im so impatient lol i really dont know how im oging to be able to wait till friday lol. I think maybe matthew might have to take the other test to work with him just so i dont take it lol

lol i was like that and there not cheap so i compromised and bought a load of the bay there the ones you use at the doctors and worked a treat at only 99p for 2 lol, i think i went through 5 tests all came back positive apart from one, which i took too early and in the evening best to do them first thing, and wait for a couple days as your hormone levels will be much higher

Testa are really good these days and can tell you if you are a week before your due on and they can tell you how far along you are. If your impatient (like me lol) then i suggest getting one of those ............they are the dearest ones out there tho :-(

Waiting until friday would be your best option as if you do another one tomorrow and its negative your only gonna want to do another one friday anyway x

I was tempted to get one of those test that you can take days before your period but they are super expensive and i know that if i just try and be patient then it'll be cheaper

Well i gave birth at the start of october and i had a period in november ive been having them nearly every month but in june i had one at the start of the month and then again about 2 weeks later so i counted from then to see when my period would be due

I did that with all 3 of mine (came on then 2-3 weeks later came on again) its how i knew i was pregnant with my 2nd and 3rd lol and all 3 times i was 3 months gone before I found out so actually came on for the 1st 3 months............apparently this is becoming more and more frequent.

Well i havent taken the pregnancy test this morning cos i dont think i am pregnant cos im period came yesterday sadly so will have to try for next month instead

My H2B and i have put ttc on hold because of his health issues. We are getting better news at docs appointments so hopefully get back to it after the wedding! As we have also decided to wait till we are married now as well x x x

Keep trying hun - it took us 18 months to conceive, but unfortunately miscarried, then another 4 months before we conceived our daughter. Keep at it - and use ovulation tests! x

I have an ovulation microscope. Its cheaper than 20 ov tests and can be reused time and time again. Im not sure how accurate it is but worth a shot if you dont want to fork out a fortune on ov tests x xx

Well since i gave birth to my daughter my periods have been pretty heavy and lasted for about 5 days or so but i think my period mite have stopped already if that is what it is and not my egg attaching itself to my womb???? Oh my god i really dont know. and completly confused.

pregnancy tests are best done in the morning on your first pee so that the concentration of hormones in the urine sample is stronger and more likely to give a better and more accurate result.
If you are concerned about your cycle then I would consult your GP. They will be able to reassure you about what is normal during a time when breastfeeding as well as be able to do a test with you to confirm if you are or aren't pregnant.
