Haha ! That'd be brilliant !! Though I agree with Kimi that people would just be dying to get on the rides rather than interested in your wedding.. xx

Id love it, if people stay over (which theyd need to anyway i guesS)~ they will get priority access to the park the next day, you get to go on all teh rides early. Its ace. Even with a hang over lol. the rides soon sort that one out lol, by the tiem your reception rolls round as well, the park would be shut so theres no distractions then

I think it would be amazing

i got the brochure through, its looks stunning. its not as expensive as i 1st thought. for your ceremony its £500 but registrar is separate. the package is £55pp. £27.50 for 5-12 yr olds. £12.50 2-4 yr olds. then if ur having that package ur evening room hire is free and its £15pp for buffet children half price.
its on the alton towers website, i didnt think that was too bad, especially as i did a draft guest list and its not as big as i thought.
the gardens r beautiful n u can have photos taken anywhere in the park n on rides, but i bet that will b more.
think im gunna have to make app to have a look round x
    thanks ladies xx

Oooh have you seen the Arabian themed room? Romantic & perfect for wedding night! We had a peek at all the themed rooms last year! And the spa for the day before!? It's a lovely spa and you and bridesmaids could stop in the sleepover room the night before!

I love AT - bought a merlin pass last year so we could visit more often! Can't imagine something like oblivion or air in a wedding dress though!! The only thing I wouldn't like is walking round a busy park with a wedding dress on drawing attention to me... We were going to get married ON the London eye until I thought about the walk through that busy area... Xx

ive got to walk through a museum to get to mine lol, i could walk round to the back entrance, but id rather not have to walk all the way down the street as well lol, im hoping it wont be busy as it will be the weekend after the kids go back to school lol

We going for photo's where H2B proposed to me and we have to walk down one of the main restaurant strips in Lincoln to get there so it'll be nice and busy on a (hopefully hot) summers afternoon/evening haha :-)

I dont think we are going to bother now. great idea but with my guest list not being so big, i dont no if people wud pay the prices to stay over so they might just not bother coming at all and i do want some guests lol
i like the zoo idea though kimd7.
i dont like heights but i like that idea sarahh. just was thinking of something a little bit different xx

Its quite close to my house 20/30 mins tops so go quite a lot as we have lots of friends im Alton Village! The Gardens a beautiful and in the summer you do see quite a few wedding photographers around, the only thing i would say is that a few times we have been and brides have "bumped" into each other in the gardens during photos and from what ive seen its quite expensive. im not sure in the hotel though, never stayed as living so close xx
