Don't think we are allowed to use confetti at our venue so am looking for an alternative. Want to be environmentally friendly as well.
Love the bubbles idea and it looks fantastic on photos too.

Are you allowed confetti at your venue?
If not what are you using as an alternative if any?

We've been told we've not allowed confetti as we're getting married at Sandhurst. If we did then they'd have to make all the officer cadets go out with tweasers and pick it all up... reeeeeally makes me want to do it :D

The only thing that concerns me about bubbles is the marks it might leave on your dress? I think we're just going to have to go without :(

That's a good point about the stains on dress, will have to think about it.
But I suppose if its a bit windy most of them won't come near you anyway :)

I'm not allowed confetti or bubbles at my venue (confetti because there are peacocks and other wildlife that could eat the paper and it cause digesting problems, and no bubbles because of something thats in the bubbles that can damage linen etc) I am putting together a crate of paper cones which will hold dried petals as these are biodegradable so it's ok if the peacocks etc get hold of them x

H2B had an awesome idea when we first got together for an alternative for confetti.
    Maple tree 'Helicopters'.
We love how they spin when thrown and thought they'd make great photos.
Not sure how you'd go about getting a huge amount other than go foraging for them.
We are fortunate enough to be able to use confetti as long as its not the foil type.
Most paper confetti is biodegradable now though.

We aren't allowed confetti unless it is bio-degradable so we are getting freeze dried confetti, it is real rose petals so they are biodegradable but cos of the process they go through the last weeks, loads of colours to choose from so can match your theme, and be great for photos! x
