    Hey ladies! i was just wondering what your all having for starters~!! we are having the tasting next week and most of the starters are fishy! blergh!! so the wedding planner said we could have an alternate! any ideas! should i stick to being a little boring and have soup xx

    We're having tomato and basil soup and a crayfish platter.. I hate fish but everyone else in our families absolutely love it

    You could have a melon and palmer ham, a mini ceaser salad, or maybe a nice greek salad with feta? Soup is an alterative but if its a warm summer day you want somthing light.

    We're having a pâté with brioche and side salad or a three cheese tart with side salad.... We didn't want soup,we wanted something a bit different, the cheese tart is the vegetarian option x

    We're having chicken liver pate, salmon and prawn terrine and homemade soup, which will be vegetarian but not sure what kind yet x

    We're going to have a selection of antipasti (I think thats what you call it) - meats, cheeses, bread, olives, balsamic vinegar.... that sort of thing xx

    We're having pâté and our vegetarian is having tomato soup.
    I think any sort of salad is a safe choice as well as something simple like bruschetta.

    Thai marinated chicken salad with pickled chillies and sweet chilli sauce
    Tomato and Sweet Basil Soup
    Traditional Scottish smoked salmon with a caper and shallot dressing
    Herb, chilli goats' cheese and three tomato salad (v)
