I'm not keen on those massive flower displays, Whenever I see pics of people sat at the table signing the register it always looks like they're engulfed in foliage. It's not for me!
I'm happy just putting my bouquet on the table but I was wondering if anyone has any ideas for something a bit different? What are you having that's not the standard flower display?

I have no ceremony table... But maybe pictures of the happy couple? Maybe just a swag or something?

I think our floral display is on some kind of stand so onthe table will by the the register, my flowers and possible the candle (we're having a candle ceremony where our mums light a candle each at the start and during the ceremony with light the big candle together joining our families together) x

I saw some wedding photos and they had wooden cut out letters spelling "MR & MRS" and it looked really nice! Thinking of doing the same

I do plan to get some of those (Made of Lego) didn't think of using them for ceremony table though! Good idea :)
We're going to have a paper pinwheel table runner :)

This is what we had on our table, I didn't like the traditional flowers either! So I put a bird cage and a wired rose garland on the table for the softer summery pink look of my theme. I also made a tulle swag which I pinned in place on the front of the table cloth. x

I don't think the flowers on the table is us either, I'm planning on getting a letter for letter saying Mr and Mrs Barna, in our wedding colours, got a friend on book of face who does loads of different wedding stuff, if u want to take a look at her stuff she said she'll be happy for u any one I know to add her, she's fab :) x

Thanks Tink .... it was so cheap to do as well the birdcage was £13 and the 2 garlands were £10 each .... much cheaper than having real flowers and a florist do it for you! I got all this in advance and just popped it on the table the night before x

That's a great price, the lettering for us is going to be £24 p&p included, have been thinking about having birdcages for our center pieces for the tables, but not sure yet, have been thinking of making a proper wishing well crafty thing for our cards and putting fairies and butterflies on it, and maybe having mini wells on the tables aswel, but don't know if going abit to far on that, don't know :) lol x

Tink these are some of the other butterfly things I had, we had a sweetheart table and had Mr & Mrs on that which I picked up for about £5 the butterfly frame was £3 and the butterfly place names where £5 for 50 on the bay ...... You should really try out some wholesalers thats where I got all my flowers and stuff from as you get them cost and don't have to pay the mark up price shops put on! x

Cupcake, the garland looks much nicer than the big flower displays- much more subtle! You can't get lost behind it lol.

We are having hydrangeas on our top table in small vases and will have these on our ceremony table, then transfer them to the top table :) Just something simple and elegant...as I didnt like the idea of a big ceremony table piece or one on the top table either x x
