OK, so my mum's made our invitations and so I gave her a clear list of names to go in the invites and what's to be written on the envelope. H2B's just been looking over the list and noticed that one of the names was a bit strange.
One of my friends (who happens to be an ex of mine) current g/friend is on the list and I wasn't sure of her surname when doing the first list so I put her surname in as 'whatsherface'. I found out her surname but FORGOT to take out the 'whatsherface' bit on the list I gave to mum!
Just had to call her to make sure that she had the common sense to notice it and not put it in AND that it hadn't been sent yet (she's due to send them this week). Thankfully she hadn't put it in, and is sending them tomorrow.
Anyone else I wouldn't have worried about and we would have probably had a right giggle over it, but as I don't know his g/f that well, she could have taken offence and that' the last thing I'd want!!!
So, lesson to be learnt today - be careful and check, check and check again, no matter how boring it is! LOL!
