I just had to share this as it made my day. We have been planning our wedding for 18 months, and about 5 months back my brother met someone and within a few weeks they was engaged and getting married in like 2 months. I was a little hurt cause it seemed like they were stealing my time but i was just trying to be happy for my brother. But then everything i had planned brothers other half copied. All i can say is sad cow get your own ideas. But their day came and went and was nothing special i have to say maybe it something to do with they had 5 mins to plan it. Well i saw her today and she keeps asking me what im doing for my wedding and i never normally say much to her but i dropped it in today that we was having someone sing during the ceremony and her face was a picture talk about turning green i could just see she was pissed off that she didnt think to do that at her wedding, oh it made my day. The next bombshell i will drop on her is at wedding cause she dont let my brother see his best mate anymore but i have invited him to wedding. Hope i dont sound like a b*tch. xx

i know someone like this that always tries to "steal my thunder" so to speak. i get pregnant a few months later she's pregnant, we decorate the living room, she does the same in the same colours just different shades. we get something new, she gets the same a month later. the only thing she's still waiting for is an engagement ring and a wedding date, which she's so jealous about and i love it. sounds mean, but i'm sick of her thinking she's so much better. i've just come to take it as flattery as she seems to like my life so much, shame its the brother in law to be's girlfriend so i'm stuck with her!!! you do right hun, just cus she got married first doesnt mean hers was better, it gives you the upper hand to make your day even more special x

i would laugh too and no you not being a bi*&ch for inviting your bros mate, your wedding your guest list good on ya! oh actually i know someone like this too but to make it worse its my ex's GF! she is an old school friend of mine,she was questioning my daughter (whos 20) asking what colours i was having and what dress etc etc not the little ideas but the big ones. i was so annoyed at first but then just laughed so much and told daughter not to say anything. well.... my ex came round to see daughter and grand-daughter as he did long before he was with his gf and all hell broke loose... she told him to pack his stuff and move in with me and play happy families erm hello... im getting married and so so happy with h2b so i think i lot of jealousy and insercurity is involved, he is an ex for a reason and now 1 of my friends, she really needs to deal with it!!! well at the moment they have split up (for about the 4th time in as many months) the green eyed monster is certainly about.all i say is she needs to get a life! hahaha

im having that problem with my sister! she jealous 'cos she was originally gonna get married before me but her boyf chickened out and said he wasnt ready although they have a kid already. ive decided to stop telling her my plans as she keeps going back and forth to my mum bitching about me! And then she accused me of coping my dads and stepmums colour theme (they got married august 2010, i made their wedding cake!) lol. i cant win! anyone else having the same sort of problems/issues? if anyone wants to slap her for me feel free!! arrrggghh younger sisters! lol

LOL it makes me laugh when people do that, most girls grow up with their own idea of how their wedding will be but some just dont have the brain to imagine something themselves. Just make sure you add lots more personal touches and give her a big "up yours" on your wedding day hahaha x

me and h2b got engaged very quick like your brother but we had been friends for year half before we got togther which i think is differnet and then when we get married we will have been enagaged 2 years and a week.
i think it is very sad when people have to copy someone else esp when it is your wedding day!! can she not think of things for herself??
if i were you i would come up with really stupid ideas and tell her you are having them and see if she copies you and dont tell her your real plans!! xx

me and htb will have been together nearly 9 years and engaged for 5 1/2 when we get married in 11 weeks time, the BILtb and his girlfriend got together at the same time as us and she is frustrated that he hasnt even asked her to marry him yet which is why she is so jealous. she's basically demanded he proposes next monday so we'll see what happens (i doubt it) but she wants to get married next year, i know she'll try her best to out do me on the day, but the fact i dont have to force my lovely htb to marry me says it all. i wouldnt let her bother you hun, maybe thats what she wants. i'd offer to help her, but keep your ideas as far away from your wedding ideas as possible :)
