Ok, so at last me and h2b have agreed my entrance song (snow patrol, chasing cars) but.....my younger sister had a friend that died a couple of years ago and at her funeral they played that song and my mam thinks it will upset her...but I still want that song.
What do you all think?x

I think you should speak to your sister about it. How old is your sister? She might see it as a kind tribute or might not make a link at all. Speak to her and find out her opinion. xx

She's 19. I said to my mam that maybe it would be a good thing as it will associate the song with a happy occasion rather than a sad one. I know if I ask her she will say for me to have it coz she is a gem but she is so soft natured I know it would upset her but I know she wouldn't say no and that's the hard thing.x

Me and my h2b are liverpool fans and were going to you'll never walk alone when walking down the alsie once married, but then i had an idea. sadly my h2b lost his mum to cancer 6 years ago and at her funeral they played this song (but the male welsh voice choir version) when they carried her coffin from the hurst into the crematorium, so i suggersted we had this so his mum would/could still be part of his big day, we asked my h2bs dad if it was ok or would it upset him and he said no he thinks it would be a lovley idea and she would have liked it, but my h2b says it might upset him abit and he doesnt want people to see him like that so we decided to have it played when we sign the registar at the side of the church, that way poeple wont see him as much and we can still have it played. hope this helps. x

I'm sure your sister won't mind at all MrsField2b, and as you said it will have a happy meaning aswell as a sad 1. I'm walking down to Kelly Clarkson 'A moment like this' & then once we're married my h2b & I are walking back to Shania Twain 'From This Moment', there are soooooo many to choose from but luckily we are having a civil ceremony & u need at least 8 song choices so i get lots of songs xx
