So after reading fab reviews on airbrush make up I found a local ish air brush make up artist that dies hair and make up, and booked a really early trial to try it out before I commit to employing this ladies services for our day next year. So excited I can't wait... 17th November I'm trialling it with my mum, and if all goes well and I book I'll have a further hair and make up trial In the new year leading upto the wedding.

Thank you ladies for introducing me to this, I had never heard of it before, and hoping it can help unblemished my blemished skin!

Thats what I did, had my make up trial about 10 months before to see if I liked it, then booked and will have a hair trial closer to the time. I loved it and was well worth the money, it looked really natural and lasted the 12 hours I left it on.

Hi guys, well consensus is that my mum and I loved it, and she is booked for the wedding! Pics in the albumn. I was really worried for my mum, she has low self confidence being a larger lady, and she never wears make up, I mean never. So I had to ensure that the artist I chose worked well with mum, as she was a main concern... Anyhow, my poor make up artist had her air gun blow up the morning of the trail, she offered to reschedule, or if I was happy to go ahead she could apply the make up with normal techniques.

We discussed looks, I showed her Pinterest, and my mum sat in the hot seat, she did eye make up first, which I thought was weird, but totally made sense when she discussed it. My mum loved it!!

I had mine done afterwards, and given that I struggle with very spotty skin (hormonal spots on my chin) I had really bad skin at the time. I was sceptical.... However, if you look at pics in my albumn you can see my spots, which were really bad on my chin aren't visible. The make up was lightweight, and lasted all afternoon/evening till I washed it off.

I have now booked the artist for a full make up and hair trial for us both in January. Can't wait to try some hairstyles to match the make up.

If you can find someone that does it, I would say go for it ladies! Xx

    Hi Mrs C to be!

I too get the dreaded hormonal spots and have quite a few red marks on my skin from old spots etc. so I looked into the airbrush makeup for this reason and you have made me really excited about the trial. I am hoping it will cover all my blemishes!! fingers crossed. My wedding day is ages away (March 2015) but I am tempted to have an early trial now just for the sake of it then book a real wedding trial a bit closer to the time!! xx

Oh wow you both look lovely! I think I'm going to go for a trial as it's only 20 pounds and then make a decision! I was very impressed with one lady's quote and I was going to let price make my decision for me but now I have a quote for normal make up and airbrush coming out the same price! x
