Hi all , I am wanting to make quite a few of the decorations for the wedding however we have loads of ideas yet can't seem to get an actual theme and it's driving me mad! Basically we want certain colours that mean something and our ideas is it's all about love , us and fun. So looking for help ladies please :)
Colours we are liking are whites(ivory and creams maybe) and blacks as this is H2B favourite footy team , red as I see it representing love and gold as red and gold is H2B fave American footy team however the gold is more of a minimal colour rather than a main one .
Ideas wise we want it to be representing us so we will have welsh stuff like welsh cakes , we will be having pics of family and when we were younger , what our fave stuff is so like sport teams and cats lol
It's like all these ideas are ok but thinking of table plans and centres and decorations seem ahhh . Sorry to waffle on but it's driving me insane! Any ideas ladies? x

You do not have to have a theme, you could just go with your colour scheme which already sounds really nice. You could do whats pictured here, or what i have also seen its four white roses with their stems in a clear cube vase of water with black beads on the bottom

you don't have to have a name for your theme but it sounds like you have it all their already so maybe hearts and black or red water balls ina fishbowl or vase as Victoria said and get some gold glitter or gold material like ribbon tie it on the bowl or swirl it arounds in the vase or fish i say put it all together and see hwta ideas you come up with but red and gold sounds asian to me so maybe look up asians weddign and see their decor see ig you can find inspiration from it XX

you dont need a theme, ours went from doctor who to simply our favourite things, so that's essentially our theme now lol

We don't have a theme at all - cadbury purple bridesmaids (well their dresses not them lol), cadbury purple and ivory flowers - other than that.....I don't really care. Just want everyone to enjoy it xx
You dont HAVE to have a theme. We just picked turquoise as as our colour and went from there. Now Ive ended up with a few things with bows (im mad for bows!) and my new surname will be Swan, so we have ended up with part swan theme lol. We have placecards with a swan, personalised favours with a swan, our ribbon for the car with a swan and its went on from there. So we got a theme by accident!
Found a few ideas with what you might be looking for:

You could swap some of the colours around too, so maybe use more red/white and accent with touches of black and gold so its not too heavy? Things like that.

April the white and black is for the Swans footy team on our part but I like the idea you have done for your new surname :)

We don't have a theme either...our colours are pastels (all bridesmaids in different pastels), flowers are a mixture of pastels, everything else is a mixture of vintage travel (as we are currently travelling for a year until we get back in January) and art deco (because my engagement ring is art deco and i love all things deco) our centre pieces are cherry blossom cos the h2b is really into japanese art...so it visually ties in with the pastel colours and looks beaut in our venue...and our table names are going to be some of the amazing places we have been on our year away eg. Paradise Cave, Devils Bay etc and a picture of us at the place...i wouldn't get too bogged down with a theme if there isn't anything in particular you want as a theme...my style isn't really matchy-matchy i will be going for a more blended look :) just have what you like! xx
