I have sat n worked out my budget over the last few days as everything is now paid for, thats why i havent been on...
OMG.. we both decided on a 3k budget as a MAxinmum as its both our 2nd time.. but after adding everything up.. its come to: almost 5k I really dont know how i have managed it... H2B reckons its ALL the little bits like Hair trials and Thank You Gifts etc etc ...
Have you gone way over your budget or have you been good sticking to it?

we have been really luck, as the totaly budget was 10k and we have come in at 9.5k so not bad going, but i just need to stay off ebay now lol xx

Fairytale... thats been half my problem... Damn you Bay of E lol i have logged on to find something... and ended up buying something else to do with the wedding that maybe i really didnt need too lol xx
We have been good and stuck to it but that is because we have kept a track of everything that we have done. We started off with the budget for each item and then stuck to it or if we went over in one area made sure it was taken off something else. I had taken some quotes when I set up the budget to make sure we could get everything without any nasty surprises. At least everything is paid for now and it isn't like you had a nasty shock at the end that you couldn't pay for. Maybe it would have been an idea not to add everything up haha.

I look at my budget while squinting, and with rose-tinted glasses on. Officially it's crept up from £5k to £6k (mostly due to VAT and an increase in planned numbers), but I know there are a fair few bits and bobs I've bought off ebay or similar that haven't made it onto the "official" spreadsheet - LOL

Our budget went up a bit, then up a bit more, then up again, then up and now it is what it is and I don't care anymore! Everything came out more than we budgeted so it'll end up being almost double our original budget. But money isn't everything - you can't take it with you! So as long as I enjoy my day, I don't worry about the budget.

our budget has nearly trebled :( but h2b said its fine as we can still save up enough to have a nice sum left over for when we do choose to move but im not allowed to divorce him haha. As if i would want to anyways... what a plonker.
