    hello ladies.
i am new to uk bride and still finding my feet on the site. i would appreciate some advice. i have booked my wedding for next year. it is the second wedding for both of us. i have decided to do everything myself as my first wedding was taken over and i did not enjoy it. i am having a small family registry office weddign on the friday and a big party reception on the saturday.
help needed with 1) what date to i have on my personalised reception things - the date of the wedding or the date of the reception
    2) when do i send invites out - now or nearer the time
any advice on anything i have said would be appreciated
    denise
    xx

Are you having your ceremony on a different day to your reception?

I sent our invites out in Feb and we get married in sept.

Welcome to the site and congratulations on your engagement! I agree with the other ladies, I would have the actual wedding date. As for the invites, you normally send them out 4-6 months before the wedding day xxx

    Hello and welcome! :)
I also think the date of your wedding - it's the official date after all, it'll be your anniversary etc, so I think it's what you're celebrating.
