    Hi All!

I'm new to this so sorry if i'm not too good at explaining myself.

I'm really after some advice. I'm getting married January 2017, I'm going for the winter wedding look with my bridesmaids in Olive Green. I've picked the style of dress I will wear (Princess/Ballgown) but now i'm stuck on which style of veil would go best? Also with it being winter i'd love my bridesmaids and I to wear faux fur (shrug/stole/wrap) for the photographs but again, I'm stuck on what will look good with the size dress i'm wearing (and also bridemaids, Long floor length).

I would appreciate any advice :)

For your veil the best thing to do is to try it on with different veils so you know which you would prefer. I was dead set on a cathedral train on my dress with a lace edged cathedral veil but when it came to it the lace was too much for my dress so have had one with scattered gems on it instead.
It is hard to know what style will be best for your dress with out trying them on.

Similar for the BM dresses. can you buy one from a shop and get one of them to try it together with the dress. If it matches great you can just go and buy the extras or if not take it back for full refund.

I wouldn't set on your dress style until you have tried some in as you might feel different once you start trying them on so I would recommend maybe trying dresses on first and then once you have decided on dress then the shop should be able to advise what veil. Mine recommended a couple and I picked the one I loved best. And once you have decided that a Nd what dresses your bm are wearing I'd then pick their shrug/wrap x

I would try on different ones once you have your dress, that way you can see if you want a long one or shorter one. If your dress has some lovely detailing on the back you may not want to hide it with a longer one.

    Thank you girls!

I've chosen my dress already and tried it on, I just need to go back and be 100% about the finer details. I think your right maybe trying on the veils will be the best option :)

Have you got a pic of your dress you can share? If you put it on your profile you will have to unrestrict it so others can see.

I don't think you can really go wrong with the style/shape of a stole its just how poofy it is and if the poofiness looks OK on you all.

Agree with the others re trying in veils.

My cousin's wedding was in December and the BMs wore silver off-the-shoulder fur stoles with their long, deep purple dresses and they looked lovely, fur stoles sound like a fab idea for your BM dresses x

I'd definitely just try different styles with your dress and see what looks best.

We are getting married NYE 2016, I have been looking at all sorts for outdoor pictures. I just can't make my mind up. My dress is the same style as yours. I have seen beautiful bridal coats but they are all made in china, not sure whether to chance it. xx
