I've been looking through some paper work for my wedding next month and noticed that I still need to pay the registrar , this has completely slipped my mind , we paid a £100 deposit and we have given our notice. But the full balance needs to be paid 12 weeks before the wedding. I'm worrying now as its a weekend I can't ring them to sort it . Would they have cancelled our date and time .? Can anyone give advice? I don't think I will sleep tonight Has anyone else paid there fee late

I haven't paid one late but I do think if they were to cancel they would have written to you. I wouldn't worry, ring them tomorrow explain the oversight and pay the bill and everything Will be fine!

I hope so it says in the booklet a payment reminder will not be sent out . Fingers crossed , I don't know what I'd do if they've cancelled it .

Since they took a deposit I would think they would contact you if they've cancelled. Fingers crossed

We've booked our registrar and paid the deposit fee and in her letter to us she states that the date is provisionally booked and that it needs to be paid 8 weeks before, im sure if you ring them tomorrow and pay the fee then everything will be ok. Surely they would of written to you or rang you if they were to cancel xx

I think our balance was due 4 weeks before and our registry office wrote to us asking for the balance.
