    Hi ladies,
I bought an AA 1516 replica dress last year, i was size 14 at the time, (the size of the dress) Im now a 12 and have been this size for coming upto a year now. My wedding is in August, and although i have tried on my dress, with the corset done tightly, but comfy so that it doesnt look bunched. Im small chested (34a) and although i have a very padded push up bra for my big day, the front of the dress doesnt sit flat on my chest, it pulls forward. I feel as if the dress was taken in a little under each arm, it would be perfect. BUT... theres so much sequin work on the band and im worried there with be nothing that a seamstress can do. I did think about having extra padding put into the actual bust area of the dress but i dont want it to look as if ive stuffed my bra with tissue lol.
Can anyone suggest anything i can do?

what about the silcon things (i cant think of what they are called, we always call themchicken fillets.) they do look natural, and if your worried they will escape you could use t*t tape?

I cant really understand what you mean, but I THINK I know......the same happened to my bodice, it was standing away from my body and I could see all the way down my cleavage. It fitted me everywhere else so I couldnt see a way of tightening it without making it not fit me properly in other areas. So what I did was just remove the 3 front bones from the bodice and that made it lay flat to my skin. its now a perfect fit, and looks so much better. It was the boning s]making it stick out.

I have the same issue with my dress, I'm hoping the MIL2B will be able to do something with it. She believes just taking it in under the arms will help, and I will be using chicken fillets too! The issue with mine is how it is ruched across the bodice, but she thinks if she just takes her time it should be ok. If you're worried, and can afford it, it might be worth taking it to a professional seamstress. I've no budget for that unfortunately, so if all else fails the morning of my wedding will be spent seeing how many chicken fillets I can fit in at once!!!

Apparently its quite common maybe you should contact a wedding dress shop and see if they're seamstress can do the work for you, my dress is a corset too and ive already been told that they will probably have to take it in to get it to lie flat the owner said its quite a normal thing to be done of the style of dress and mines got allot of detail to.

im trying to find a seamstress as my dad is paying for it but cannot for the life of me find one in my area.

Do you get a local paper or magazine you can normally find adverts in there, or pop into a bridal shop and ask if they can recomend someone to you, good luck xx
