Is this for the first dance? walking up the aisle? I don't think it matters what song you have, the only thing that matters is that its important to and H2B

i think that if you read the lyrics and they work for you then thats great. i think lyrics are important as you dont want to walk down the aisle or dance to the wrong song. a few years back a couple walked down the ailse to a song by steps. yes it was the song 'tragdy' and they got divorced not long after the wedding. so i think you do need to think about words i can find the song and have a listen to gove better advice. give me 5mims and i b bk.
Find out who you are & do it on purpose!

ok having listened to the song i really like it....
Having read the lyrics...not so much for a wedding.... this could be sung from all gender pov but for analysis sake we will say its a woman talking to a man.
1. its a wedding scene 2. its aimed at the groom (line 2) 3. turned up uninvited (line 7) 4. couldnt stay away (line 8) 5. hoped you'd see my face (line 9) 6. isn't over for me (line 10) 7. point 6 states this is from an ex's pov 8. ex & groom "bound" by glory days (lines 21 & 22) 9. don't forget the ex (line 29)
as a wedding planner i would suggest this is not a songto be played at a wedding at all, even tho it a lovely song i feel as if it might give the guests the wrong impression, and if there is ver any doubt in either of your minds (jealousy over the ex) then this is defnately not right for your wedding. the only way i can see this working is if you have/had an "on & off" relationship? if you happen to have broken up along the way then youare the ex so its said from eachother to eachother but then that still does not remove the line 7.
sorry to have "burst your bubble" but i think that its important to analyse a song properly to see what it truely means, even if it is sentimental for you.
this does not mean you cant have it, ie my song is aerosmith dont wanna miss a thing - typical lve song, brillient, however for me and dean this is the song that was played when our son was born, this song was playing after we both survived the birth, me & our son were very ill and dean was askto choose who to save, me or our son, we both survived but Xander was in special care and this is the song we were listening to whilst watching him sleep, not allowed to pick him up for a cuddle cos he was too sick, so sentimentaly this is probably not the best song for us for our first dance as we will be thinking about how we nearly lost our son but this is the song we chose, and our son did survive so its all good apart from why we chose it.
We want it envovled some where in the wedding so gonna have it as a general song lol xx

I love the song - but have to agree with Katya, it isn't really a 'wedding' song - but most deffinetly can be played as part of the disco.
After the 1st dance and all significant 'wedding' stuff has been done any song is a goer for me!!
is soooo happy and lucky

I have to admit a beautiful song but the lyrics are not what I would want for a wedding. I would either go for an instrumental version of the song if you love it that much or find something else.
