H2b and I were talking last night and have decided we might like to have an 80's theme thrown into the wedding as we were both born in this decade and I love 80's music.

WE cant seem to think of anything tho that we can do apart from naming the tables after either 80's pop bands or 80's films!

apart from that we are stuck! HELP!!

All your music from the 80s?
Some neon decorations? (if you wanna do it im sure you could get it done more elegantly than it sounds lol)
All i can think of just now.

My h2b and i were both born in the 80s as well. I think this is a great idea!!
Maybe make the top table named after the number on hit on yours or h2bs birthday which ever is the best one lol.

Oooooo I love the 80s idea and there are so many things you could incorporate depending on how much of the 80's you wish to include. Things like arriving in the A-Team van or Knight Rider type car instead of a normal wedding car, centerpieces of Magic 8 Balls with some decoration around them or a stack of Rubiks Cubes, retro sweets as favours, Pacman game and other 80s games (for kids and adults alike) which can be hired, pink and blue neon streamers and party poppers, having a dress code whereby wedding guests wear an article of clothing or jewellery from the 80s, 80s cheesy music, the wedding cake made with LP records as the cake stand or incorporated in the decoration of the cake and so on.

Also found this when I was having a look around which may be an idea for the groom.
