Personally, I find it weird. I've had s8x with my OH hundreds of times; abstaining just seems really odd.
Also, I'm not actually banking on having s8x the night of the wedding; I imagine we'll be exhausted, plus we plan on partying until 1-2am lol.
I guess I just don't really get all the hype TBH; I mean, it's hardly going to be different just because you're now married. But, that's just me; I've never really seen s8x as a big emotional thing.

A few weeks???? We didn't ... but we did spend the two nights before apart so does that count?

Ive just thought as well, my h2b goes away in September for 6 months with the merchant navy, literally gets back 4 weeks before the wedding so I think I will have abstained enough
We abstained but it wasn't will power it was kids and stress. We didn't have s3x till 3 days after the wedding, due to sharing a villa with our 2 kids and my mum. Steve decided to hire a speed boat on the 3rd day and we ermmmm had a very good few private hours together out at sea.
I have a gorgeous husband!
2 brilliant wonderful boys, a wonderful life
in Cornwall. Happiest woman ever!
Now making our house a home. Blessing 2014.

I keep teasing H2b saying no more s3x before marriage and he just says 'I dont think so'...... Im getting married at the begining of the month and this is usually my 'lady week' so I dont think we will be do anything the night of the wedding!

We didnt, but didn't have s£x for a bit before as both kids were really ill for about a week and half before so it was 4 in a bed. Didn't think we would on the night thought we'd be too knackered but after a 2am bath we managed before the zzzzzzzzzzzs caught up with us... seems like we've been 'dancing' more since getting married though not that we've planned too.

Possibly will be abstaining. Biology has, for once been on my side and my 'lady week' (love that Oct12bride86) is now and just finishing now, tmi I know. However, I have already told h2b that I have plans for him, me, my wedding dress and the hotel bed as in Four Weddings, hopefully not with Hugh Grant walking in though.

We've already agreed that we won't be getting any action on our wedding night - we're holding our reception in a vodka bar! I can't see us abstaining, it just seems silly.
Blimey Mrs.Shaw!
If only life could be one long tea break

We definitely didn't lol. I couldn't see the point because once you're married s3x isn't any different anyway. We didn't on the wedding night because we were wrecked by the time we got to bed (early hours) as it had been a long day and we'd lost track of the drinks we'd been bought as well lol.

Ha ha Hugh Grant could walk in for me lol! We will be abstaining the night before but that is because i will be at the venue however h2bs 18 year old son is coming from Australia the Saturday before the wedding and staying in the next bedroom to ours.I think at best this will put a damper on our love life.On the night of the wedding there is a possibility that we will be sharing the bridal suite with our seven year old if she hasn't gone home with my sister and then h2bs son will be staying with us for another 2 nights before heading off to see relatives.Hopefully we should get a bit more 'quality time' then! (i have told my moh that she has to stand outside the bridal suite between the day and evening dos with a sign saying 'cleaning in progress' whilst h2b and i have a little lie down lol) x
