wow that is ridiculous for cars!!! we are just staying at Pittodrie the night before and after hearing that i think it will save us quite a bit of cash!!

ye they were more expensive due to there travel. The band we got quoted us the same however we talked them down and got some money off!! we werent finding any bands to really be under £1200! so much money! I think i have heard of them but just the name not there music! they good? We were actually put off by a few bands that we were told were good because of the audio on their website. I am thinking the audio doesnt do them justice as you dont get a sense of atmosphere. Have you had any progress sinc you last wrote? xx

Jen I replied ages ago to you however looking here it seems to have not worked. How was Spain? We have now booked Aberdeen Exec cars. New jag and e-class for £260 so chuffed with that. Booked the band Pepperpot so that's that sorted. Registrar booked for 2.00pm. Dress ordered (pics in album if you want a nosey)

haha Bex! I was wondering why I hadnt heard back from you! Spain was reallly good! a fine relaxing break.

Well thats a much better price!! oo pepperpot are meant to be good! we would have went with them but someone we know has slept with one of the guys (years ago before she was married!) and her hubby wouldnt be too chuffed at us having them lol.

Have the registrar sent you anything out yet?? we havent booked a time properly but i am wanting about 2om as well. Ooo away to have a nosey at your dress! I have another appointment on the 15th at 2 places and hopefully decide! I have narrowed it to 4 now lol

Yes i went to the fair! It made me feel quite organised as we have all the major things! how did you find it? we actually made an appointment for the people from ******** to come see us so that will be interesting!

Got the church, reception venue and photographer booked :) still have quite a bit to do though!
Getting married at St Machar Cathedral the Britannia Hotel for after.

Thats a really good price for cars :) cheapest I have had is £130 per car and thats only because its in December!

I paid £269 for a jag and an e class as I pretty much need picked up from my parents house and dropped off but I did get quotes for £1000 and £500 so definately shop around. I am getting married in September next year

wow I am fairly glad I am staying at the venue and don't need cars!

Had the wedding ring people round on saturday so that is the rings all sorted :) and I have finally chosen my dress and getting it ordered on saturday :)

Found because December quiet for weddings I get a bit of a discount on cars, photographers but bands etc I don't!
Def shop around :)
Think the pittidrie wedding show passed but they usually have one march/april. If you contact them they will email you the dates and any offers they have xx

Pittodrie have changed their website as the next wedding show was listed down the right hand side of the page. As Future Mrs Mac said if you contact them then they will let you know. The last one was at the end of September so it might be a few months away.

Meldrum House one is at the beginning of March. I went to it last year and thought it was really good.

Jen you seem to be really organised. The other half has told me to calm down with the organising as I have most of it done - what does he know :) xx
