I'm in the early stages of wedding planning and have nothing booked or purchased yet. I've just begun to save and it may be awhile before I can put a deposit on a venue and officially set the date. In order to save money I will be very open to the date of the wedding. I have have been thinking themes and have found some wedding goodies that would fit my dream theme. Here's some images of my dream invites, and some other coordinating paper goods.

My question to all you lovely ladies is this: would this theme work in any season? Or only for a spring/summer wedding?

id have it for any ..... we had a black n white theme in june !!!!
Id say they look springy, however im not voting as i agree with lala, if i wanted an xmas theme and my wedding was in the middle of summer, i wouldnt care. Ive not taken any mind to the date of my wedding when thinking of my colour scheme etc. I dont really see why it matters
Pick a date you can afford to work toward rather than trying to fit it in with your theme :)

Spring, but only because bird get frisky in the spring! lol

I think it would work well for spring! if it ends up a winter wedding then just add a few snowflakes or for Autumn a few leaves and jobs a good un

Thank you for all your opinions and suggestions! At least early spring off-peak as far as weddings are concerned. However now I'm not as worried if my theme doesn't exactly match the season. x

I voted for them all! Any theme can work for any time of year in my opinion why be limited to the time of the year if you like something go for it!

I didn't vote because I think it would work for any season. I don't think the theme needs to match the season. My wedding's in June as my colour scheme is burgundy which is usually a winter colour but we like it :)
Also, have you already got a venue in mind? Just asking because the time of year doesn't always affect the price. My wedding's a Saturday in June so pretty much peak wedding season but we got a package deal so it's costing the same as it would for any day of te year x

I voted spring/summer, however if I'm sure it could be made to work at any time - kind of like a 'Christmas in June' type wedding can be pulled off if you're careful.
I went to a 'spring' wedding yesterday, carefully planned with spring flowers and pretty lemon dresses, and it snowed.
If only life could be one long tea break

I agree with the others - it will go any time of year xx

Thanks Joanna for the ifo on package deals. OWB - I was thinking that as well, the weather can be so unpredictable. Hails& Laura thanks - I think I'm going to finally stop worrying about the time if year x

Think it looks more 'Spring' ish, but as the others say you can adjust them to fit any season really xxx

theres no way it couldnt work in winter anyway, throw a couple of robins in the mix for the bird houses, the colour could easily be assosiated with winter as well as its a cool rather than warm looking colour anyway :)
i really wouldnt worry about it matching any season, thats the last thing i thought of when picking my theme. My wedding is in september and i wouldnt have a clue where royal blue should be season wise. and i dont care either.
