Karriann - LOL! I'm vertically challenged too! I had to have 7 and 3/4 inches chopped off the bottom of my dress!!!
I didn't find the photo of my dress on the model until a couple of weeks ago and bought my dress last August. I don't think the model does the dress justice either. Not that I'm an oil paining or anything like that, just that I think the person makes the dress, not the other way around.

the real brides are winning so far by the looks of it lol this is my dress on a model and i think its nasty on her as she has no curves. a few years ago i went for a bridesmaid dress fitting and the lady who owned the bridal store asked me too model some of her dresses on a catwalk, i was a 12-14 so not skinny but she wanted busty models with a shape, i dont see why designers would use a model who doesnt flatter there dress! x

Only 8 weeks to the wedding now and having my first dress fitting next week, so hopefully pics of the finished dress soon...

You know when you go to the bridal shop and they have those things for you to stand on? I think they are all on those. They never made sense to me, I know I'm short... I don't need to see what the dress would be like if I was 6 inches taller :D

I had to stand on a little step at the dress shops becuase I'm so short so I could see how the dress would fall - it was a little precarious with heels!
