I am learning Norwegian and it is hard because they don't have some words for example the loo wouldn't flush and so I was looking in the dictionary to explain that to mil but no word for flush! The translation was actually the loo is not drawing the water down! and they ask questions in the negative so if I was asking you if your wedding was today instead of Is it your wedding today? I would have to ask is it not your wedding today but add in the grammer and I actually have to ask is your wedding not today? Fine until someone answers yes cos can't figure out if they mean yes it is not or yes it is! Thats what I get for falling for my scandenavian prince I guess but on the plus they only use capitals at start of sentence, a persons name & countries, much easier to remember.
