If like me your stuck on a really tight budget but want the whole sit down meal and buffet later etc. this may be the best way to get it!! I nearly fell off my chair when my mum mentioned she had seen it advertised at the Britannia near where she lives, ive checked it out and its £999 for this year and £1499 for next year!! Hope this helps some of you because its sure helped me lol!!

oh i didnt know holiday inn did it too!! im going for it in Stockport as they do a very similar deal which is only £1950 but it includes things like a dj flowers etc. For the £999 you get room hire, wedding breakfast for 50 people, bucks fizz on arrival, cake stand and knife, colour co-ordinated napkins, evening buffet for 100 guests, accommodation for relatives at discounted rate, have a look at local hotels though because they all have different offers on but all have that deal on everywhere x x x

Some best western do have this offer as it was the first venue we looked at. We ended up chosing the Hildiay Inn one, energy of the building felt much better and more pleasant, plus the one we were looking at didnt have much photo opp. Ive noticed a few that have the £999 offers though.....some even including the cake and flowers.

Kizz - Stratford is a beautiful location, but unless they've done something seriously drastic to the Best Western hotel then I wouldn't recommend having a wedding there! We had a Christmas do there one year. Less said about it the better..

I think the Village Hotel chain have similar offers too or at least they did when we were booking ours, it was get married for £1000 but when you actually added up all the extra's it was around the £5k mark so we didn't bother. These deals though you've mentioned sound alot better though the meal at The Village was only for 40 day & 80 evening etc.......

I would all check out your local brittania hotels before booking ladies, the one in Nottingham is terrible and the top 10 worst hotels in the UK (tripadvisor) 4 of them are Brittanias.

Yes we have gone for this option...but we dont want a sit down meal we're having a fork buffet so we have more choice in the day and a finger buffet at night. The wedding co-ordinator at our hotel was so helpful as we wanted to add more guests to the package deal. We have 100 in the day and 250 at night and the whole wedding reception is costing us just over £3000 its amazing!

We are having the £999 deal at the holiday inn although we are having it twice as it only included 30 people for sit down and 60 for evening so we are having 2 lots so 60 sit down and 120 evening,Its good though includes drink on arrival, 3 course wedding breakfast, buffet dj, dance floor ,cake stand hire, room for the me and h2b, and hire of the rooms for the ceremony and reception.

I looked at the Britannia one in Brighton and by the time we had added people and changed a few bits and pieces it did not work out that cheap for the room and the facilities. Having said that, if you find a hotel with a room etc that suits you then it's an amazing deal!!!
