I think its enough. It can be quiet hard to stick to your budget as time goes on but you can do it, there are girls on here that are planning lovely weddings for a 1/4 of that price.... its all down to what you want xx

    Welcome and congrats....

8k should be more than enought dependant on what you want to do.. I was planning on spending no more than 5k/6k and from all the planning it sky rocketed.....

    then we changed plans....
    then changed plans again...

its all to ehat you have and what you want to do...

but there nothing like the feeling you get when it all come together under budget and during the process you bag a load of bargins....

Good luck and I'm sure you will find loads of help, advise and ideas from here....

its deffinatly doable, if u only want a small wedding even more so were having the church a hall and buffet and so far i think its only coming in at around 1100 so as long as you have an idea on what you want and dont mind using a well know aution site for things you should be fine :) x

I would love £8k to spend on our wedding lol! At the moment we are aiming to spend about £2,500 and thats really not skimping on anything at all. I think the main expense is your venue so if you get a good deal on that then you are well away! x

it should be plenty hun, depending on what you want from your day. were having a small wedding, only 45 of us. nice hotel, posh cars, church wedding. have skimped on flowers but i can get away with it as were getting married during lent but it freed up more money for the photographer as i wanted amazing photos. xx
