Wedding Forum - 6 Years and Counting! x...

So, we have a fair few favour idea, each one i love for a different reason. Abit crazy but i would have all of them if we could.



Also going to have a mixture of charity favours. Some for cancer in respect for my Gran & Alzheimers for Emmas Nan. We miss them so much so would love to tie them into our day again. Each person will walk away with a pin badge from each charity x

Okay so the men will be in dickie bows the works. At our CP we didn't bother with suits but this time there will be no escape.. Cuffies are a must.. And the MUST be these.

We intend to get a roulette table, blackjack station and maybe a poker table too if we can find a venue large enough to hold everything and us lol. This would be so amazing as it will all be kept secret until the moment our guests walk in. We are hoping to give everyone over 18 $1000 of funny money which is basically personalised fake notes lmfao! Which they might be able to trade in for cool prizes but this is yet to be decided.


- These intend to be scattered around the food table. (We arent fancy meal people so digging into a buffet)

- Do i need to say anymore.. FAB, Would be great to get a ladder nearby so people and hop it in but can see that going crazy wrong so that wont happen but amazing all the same :D

- Again totally fab Great for photos

- HOW AMAZING. It lights up and everything! Again would be soooo cool for pictures, as we can't get to the real sign because of family we will have to bring one to us.

- Thinking of this instead of a photo booth, At least everyone would have a frame image pmsl

- We are hoping to have a cocktail bar in one corner as i am a cocktail lover. This sign would be perfect :)

- We are going to be having lots of younger people at the wedding that can't "Gamble (even though we are using funny money)" So thinking about setting this up for them to enjoy.

Yeah.. so we have lots of ideas but getting them rolling into actual items could take alot longer than planned. What am i doing to myself? Crazy idea doing this twice.

Cheers hun, I love the martini glass too, going to hopefully get my cousin to sit in it all night for us pmsl :) She will do anything for a few quid and a good drink and she will be perfect for the look too. I'd have one in my living room if i could... hmmm they do a smaller version too :P

Yeahhhhhh! Get her a showgirl outfit and just shove her in there lol :D I would let others get in there but the thought of drunk people climbing up a ladder scares me.

good lawd - leave you alone for five minutes and you've surpassed yourself there. I love the big picture frame - friend of mind did the same with a smaller ones and printed, then presented everyone with a pic of themselves before they left. I may pinch that idea :)

I'm so glad we have time to save, for the showgirls its about £150, the roulette & blackjack tables are about £250 going to be EXPENSIVE lmfao

Ok, so i'm not a lover of flowers a nice bouquet sitting in the window is fine but i find holding them awkward. If my searches to find something instead i found some buttonholes :) Perfect! Now just have to find a supplier or try and find the bits to make them myself


Also i found a package where we can have a roulette table, poker table & blackjack table all with the croupers (sp) who deal, 4 one armed bandit machines AND some props ofr £700. Still looking around for a cheaper deal but we have agree £700 would be so worth it

I THINK we might be going for invite 1, I am going to try and design these myself to make it a little more extravagant maybe try to add some confetti onto it somehow.

Okay so after a a few weeks off i am back for another round of planning!
BM Dresses are going to be made by me, i have plenty of time to practice so its fine. Red & Black with a diamonte star which i will also make myself. Not sure how to make a corset back yet but i have time to look into this.

Also starting to look for some pretty venues. Don't want a hotel or anything that is going to force us into a posh buffet and definitely no 3 course meals. It wouldnt suit us or our family so no point going there, thinking something with outdoor photograpth areas but again plenty of time to look into this.

Plus had to break the news to my new family i found earlier on in the year i couldnt have all of their children as FG's & PB's as there is over 20 of them. We are however TTC & the hope is 2 have one child each before the wedding =) Love looking at possible suits for the lads too

This is OUR Cake! I wont be changing my mind. The bottom is going to be very different, still have the poker chips but with a roulette table and a few other things. The top half will be as close to this as i can get.
