Wedding Forum - 6 Years and Counting! x...

Me & Emma are due to do it all over again on 19th May 2019.. 10 years to the day that we got together.. and 7 years to the day we got married. We haven't even been in our Civil Partnership a year yet and they are going to bring a new law out meaning we can actually get married. It still needs to go through Lords but i have a good feeling :D

So.. Ideas are still in the starting process atm. We have a theme which is stars & a day... THATS IT!. I will of course be making our wedding cake again but i don't know what we will be having for that yet. I like the idea of 7 tiers but some of them would have to be fake cake pmsl..

Pictures of ideas are to follow tomorrow.. Things will obviously come & go but here is where its all going to be updated :D

:) I really love that Star shaped ring but it doesnt match what we have now :( I was thinking about giving either a necklace or a bracelet instead but Emm isnt keen on it.

Okay Quick Update.

Just did a rough budget and it worked out at a very reasonable £2055. Divided that by 3 years... £12.85 a week. Not bad considering. Showed OH her words were and i quote "f##king hell babe how much?" :S Oopies... Our last wedding started at 6k ended up under £500 as we cut back on things we didnt really need and alot of family helped us out. We was in such a hurry so we could start thinking about having kids so the other person can go on the birth certifcate :D

I know this amount will go down because i have been very generous in places but i know there are things i have forgotten too. It doesn't get easier lol!

I always have been always will be. We are going to start putting £20 a week away after easter so will have plenty of pennies to spend :D
Already looking at reception venues and ruled a fair few out - Emm seems to be interested today :D

Definitely. I said to her a few months back i wanted to start saving in case of emergancies etc. You never know what is just around the corner afterall. I won't get much out of her because "its still agesssss away" lol.

Should have about 4k maybe more if we put abit more in the kitty some weeks :) Perfect for what im planning, now i just have to gain control of the wedding money pmsl shouldnt be too hard. x

I Love the idea of the 2 combined But i also wanted to do save the dates on the keyrings but thats going to get VERY expensive lol.

They are about £3 not including the engravement. I need to learn to engrave things myself lol

I've always been around the twist lol.. If i see something crafty i learn how to do it, I crochet, I bake, I have a sewing machine but still getting use to it lmfao.. Whats abit of engraving :P

Did you ladies send out STD's if so where did you get them from? I don't see the point in spending a fortune but i want them to look expensive pmsl :P x

That's a cracking idea! I never really through about using any of our CP stuff. We have a bedroom draw full on things from planners to banners etc i might have to have a peek through there.

THEME DRAMA - ALREADY!!!

Okay, this might get long and confusing so please bare with me.
When we first started talking about themes I told Emm she could have anything she wanted. I've told her this is going to be the best day she will ever have lol. We started off with a New York theme, she loves the place and i was considering taking her to NY for a mini moon if we could leave the kids with her mom (If we have children by then). She wasn't keen at all. So she decided on stars.
BRILLIANT - set in stone, perfect. Secret meaning of you might not always see me but i will always be there. :) Loved it....

Until tonight, sitting at her aunts out and we end up talking about themes, no idea how :S So i mention the stars etc then joke about wanting a arcade theme ( i am a sucker for 1p machines) LOVE THEM, her eyes said she was tempted but soon put the idea in the fire.. I am gutted...
She then mentions a Casino theme.. i could work with that still playing with gadgets etc, nahhh that idea didnt stick around long but it is still a maybe like the arcades. THEN she mentions NY theme.. :O Whaatt! I thought you didnt want it, her Aunt pipes up saying how good it would be etc and emm is now buzzing about the thought of it. Typical..

So now im stuck, Stars, Arcade, Casinos, NY or Rustic/Gardens/flowers (shes a florist and studied all sorts of gardening and i love nice gardens lol) Poop. So glad we have started to plan early :(

I know these are REALLY short, but if i can find longer ones i would love these. The red goes into a corset back & the star is perfect too. Fallen in love gutted i can't wear one tbh.
