Well there was a valentines day competition in our shopping centre and me and H2B was walking by so we stopped to see the winner there was 3 people, they had to choose an envelope each with a code for the safe... the first man put his code in and it opened! The presenter said are you going to give it to your girlfriend who had come on stage by this time and he said only if she agrees to marry me and got down on one knee it was so cute loads of people was crying! I think she was in total shock because she went so pale and was shaking of course she said yes!
Had to share because H2B didn't really give a monkeys =/

Am I the only one that thinks this is a bit of a cop out!?
I would be a little annoyed with my H2B as I would always at the back of my mind be wondering did he only ask me because a) the ring was free and b) because he was in front of a crowd of people!!
I probably would have said maybe to this proposal. sorry for being the party pooper! but i would not be over the moon to say the least!!
I would want a much more private and heart felt proposal with a haribo ring!!

Im sure he wanted to get engaged and Im sure they are very happy (who wouldnt be with a £5,000 ring!!!!)
BUT! Still - I always imagined my proposal as a private affair - I wanted it to be just us no one else no audience. But thats just personal I suppose. I'm sure the couple are very happy! Wonder if the B2B will come on here!! hehe!!

I dont think he would have set it up to be honest i mean what man would fake winning a £5,000 ring - surely they would be boasting that they could afford a £5,000 ring because they wouldnt want to look like a cheap skate!!
