Hi all! I've been off here for quite a while, I've got some catching up to do in the forum! Hope everyone's planning is going well! Mine has more or less stalled out up until now (that's why I've not been online!). But today I started thinking about readings..
I want my lovely nephew and godson to do a reading at the ceremony - he will be 4 and a half by then and I think it will be so cute! I figure even if he messes up, or forgets his words, or my mom has to go up with him to whisper in his ear, it will be absolutely adorable. And I'm not going to consider it a huge disaster if he can't or won't do it - I don't mind at all really!
He's not particularly shy and we can devise ways of practising in the venue / in front of as many people as possible. He's used to the little christmas shows in preschool so we can tell him it's just like that but with more people.
I'm thinking about having him read from 'Guess How Much I Love You', the children's book about Little Nutbrown Hare.
What do you all think?
