We have no gift list for anyone we just asked for money in a card if people can but we got 2 presants yesterday and they are absolutely beautiful... We got a 44 piece cutlery set (which feels so heavy) and a floor standing lamp that has 5 ball bulbs that spread out like a flower and its georgeous... :) Its all getting so real now.. :) Got mum her dress today and had my hair trial on wednsday and my dress fitting is next thursday.. Excited :D

Thats so nice that your getting presents! I dont think we're planning on doing a gift list either! But how thoughtful are your family and friends! How exciting, not long to go for you :D I wish it was me too, however im no where near ready so maybe thats a good thing i still got 10 ish months to go eek! x

Hey lula88 im not for having a gift list either....are you going to mention anything in invitations? I was thinking of not saying anything, no poems for pennies or honeymoon fund or anything but don't know if that's rude..
That is sweet you have received such lovely presents. we are in the same boat that we would prefer money rather than presents as we are desperately trying to save a deposit for a house whilst also saving for a weeding! I just feel so cheeky telling people this though - any ideas or suggestions on how to word this? Has anyone put anything to this effect in there invitations? I am blushing even typing this - I would hate people to think it is all about money!!
