Hello, I'm getting very stressed over my wedding. It's 07/09/13. My fiancé is Scottish so wearing a kilt from his clam which is dark green blue and orange, so we decided on orange for bridesmaids, which will fit in nice for September.but I'm struggling with a theme, and how to decorate the tables, I like vintage, but I want some inspiration. The room isn't huge, sows. Are having one main table and 2 long ones either side, there's about80 for the daytime. So i would like some ideas on themes please, also something inexpensive too.
Also I haven't tried any dresses on yet because I was loosing weight, I want vintage, lace, and also haven't looked at any bride is dresses yet, how long should I give myself? My mothering law keeps saying she wants a red dress, but if the bridesmaids are orange I don't the clash and I think she should wait until I've got the dresses and my mum has hers first, or am I being put of order. She is a intimidating person, so i wouldn't be able to tell her myself.
AHHHHH please help I'm so so stressed!

can you merge Scotland and vintage together for your theme so both you and your H2B get what you want yo could have tartan with a vintage twist.
try on dresses and see how they fit you you can always buy a dress and still have plenty of time for alterations before your big day
and say to you mother Its your wedding so your in charge what you say goes and red will clash with the orange so you mum cannot wear red
Hope this helps =D ♥ X

When you say autumn, whatsoever you mean. How do i even start planning what I want it to lookalike, I'm so worried, I don't want to over spend. The dresses will be orange to match with the stripe in the tartan, do I blend other colours or will it be too much. Shall I have flowers and leafs on the tables, is that something a florist will do? Xx

orange an blue go nice together, and burnt orange is lovely to. I think the vintage ide would still work really well no matter what the colours you pick

Thank you, I'm such a worrier, I have seen some wooden candle holders I like with hearts cut out, will pumpkins be around as its 07/09/13 so first weekend in September? Do any of you know of any websites to get wedding decorations which aren't too expensive? Also any good ideas on favours? We are going for cider for our drinks as I don't like champagne , and being in Somerset it's perfect. So I guess we are going for a rustic autumnal theme. X

bay of e is one of the best places to pick bits up from hun, glad you got your theme sorted and I think you may be to get pumpkins but best ask at a fruit and veg shop just to double check, you can have different favours hun that suit you some people use bath bombs , keyrings, personalized lovehearts, personalized mini chocs, soaps, sugar almonds, there is a favours thread will see if i can find and bump for you x

I think a rustic autumn theme sounds lovely. The bay is great and g00gle always finds other bits and shops. You may get some pumpkins then, you could always make it even more unique by making papier mache ones :) I always like M@rth@ Stew@rts websites for ideas, though she's american you can still get wonderful ideas from it.
