OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG....... I've told a couple of you lovely ladies our news and were going to keep it a secret a little longer but I can't honestly can't contain my excitement any longer but a relative has just come into some money and we are able to move the wedding up to next year if we want because they want to give us a little more towards the wedding!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have to check that the few things we've arranged can be moved to the date we want so it's not confirmed yet but we can't believe our luck this week! First I got the scholarship at the beginning of the week and now this - incredible! They say everything comes in three's so after this, I don't know if I can cope with the next if there is one haha! Also, ironically we are looking at 5th September 2015 which actually will be the weekend 2 years on from when we got engaged ..... Scary to think that I'm now getting married next year!!!! xxx

I just can't believe my luck this week :O main thing is to ring the canon and check the cathedral is happy and free to do the blessing on the date we are thinking and then check on the venues we like to see if they have availability..... I haven't gone dress shopping yet hun, so I wouldn't worry too much. I have my first appointment on Saturday but planning on going to a few shops and then going back to try my favourite on in Summer and seeing if I still like it before putting a deposit down

Eek!! Thank you ladies.... can't tell you how excited we are :D and be prepared..... I emailed my parents last night as it was late, explained EVERYTHING, got a really nice email back from my Dad AND when I phoned them up a minute ago to chat about it they were excited, interested and acting like parents should when their daughter is getting married! I think it's actually helped bringing it forward to next year as they can actually get excited and interested in it, their voices even sounded well.... It was just lovely to hear :) we have contacted the cathedral but not heard back from them, out of the 4 venues only 1 can't do our potential date! Our favourite photographer can't do that either which is a bit annoying as it's £700 deal for photography and videography :( but, we do also like 15.8.15 as a possible! xx

Ok.... Gave the cathedral a call about this and he's said that it shouldn't be a problem with either 15th August or 5th Sept except that there are grad ceremonies on the 3rd and 4th so we now just have to wait until the canon pastor is back tomorrow to find out if we can move it, after which it is just a case of going to the diary meeting and getting it confirmed eek!! xx

Well you need not wait any longer ladies as we can now confirm that we are now officially getting married on 15th August 2015!! Eek!! We just have to give the registry office a ring and rearrange as the cathedral can do our date now it's time to get cracking!! xx
