had 2nd meeting with the minister last night. was meant to be approx an hour, we left after an hour and 40 mins! lol we thought we were just going to discuss music, readings etc. well... we went through the whole ceremony! we had several readings, prayers, music we had a choice of, choice of vows, choice of order etc. very productive and we both left feeling very happy and excited as it made it feel more real. we even got our appointment for the rehearsal! luckily we had done a bit of research and had a short list for hymns and readings so we could make discissions there and then.
i can start doing a draft for our OOS now but need to find templates first lol :) x

Ours has just cancelled due to going in for an operation so I'm gutted as I really wanted to talk to him about the service. We go to marriage prep the weekend after this so hopefully they will be able to give us some guidance at the end of that. What prayers and readings have you chosen?

aww no jo, is there nobody else you could speak too? like you say thou maybe you will get guidence from your marriage prep.
readings we have chosen are, 1 corinthians 13, mark 10 (6-9) and my 9 year old daughter is reading a poem, prayers were all set and hymns, all things bright and beatiful, give me joy in my heart and we pledge to one another. we are just having the organist playing us in and out and while signing the register too. i just have to decide which music we want him to play x
